2. Get the Job Done

It's been two years of training, training, and training. I've successfully turned in a persuasive, cunning, evil girl who is trained to kill. Not only to kill but to kill without mercy. The good thing is that won't happen. Hopefully. As a woman, all I have to do is bait people. It should be easy enough as long as no one gets in my way.

I get off the plane and hurry to get my luggage. Matt texted me saying he would be the one who was picking me up. I was grateful because the last thing I need is Ryan picking me up. That would ruin the whole cover up. Of course I'm going to be nice to rest of the boys. I have to live with them for crying out loud! I can't just be a heartless bitch all the time. They would hate me and I've already lost one family. I'm not going to drive away the new one on purpose. But I still need to look like I'm not going to break easily and that I can be independent.

I walk through the crowd of people, tugging my suitcases along with me. Matt didn't tell me where to meet him so I figured I would wait in front of the airport. I was half way to my destination when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I tensed up and turned around slowly. I squealed with excitement when I saw Matt and Chris. I dropped my bags and jumped into their arms. They had changed so much but they looked so familiar. Matt still had dark, brown hair cut short and pushed to the side slightly. His soft green eyes almost made me break out into a huge smile just by looking at them. Chris had his platinum blonde hair in spikes (as usual) but his baby blue eyes that I loved changed to a stormy grey. Both boys had grown so tall and Matt looked tanner while Chris looked paler. How in the world did that happen? Still hugging, we greeted each other for the first time in two years.

"Matt!! Chris!! Oh my God, I missed you so much!" They both chuckled and Matt said, "We did too. Trust me. It took a while to get used to waking up and having to make our own breakfast and not having to hear you blast music in your room at three in the morning." I laughed too and Chris said, "Don't ever leave again, got it?" I rolled my eyes and thank goodness they couldn't see it. Now, since I'm in it for life, they can't be as nice anymore. In fact, I'm not allowed to talk back, disrespect, disobey orders, or go off on my own on a job. I already knew about these rules but in the past, they would let me slide a bit. Not anymore.

After releasing me from the bone breaking hug, Matt gave me a piggyback ride while Chris grabbed my luggage. The ride back was long and every minute made me worry even more about the gang. Chris started to tell me how bad things have gotten without me there. Apparently, the rival gang was sending threats towards us and we had already lost three guys to them. The weird thing was that most of the threats were directed at my parents, who were dead.

Chris was doing his best to keep it under control but other threats were coming as well. Someone started selling drugs to our members that would kill them in an instant. Now, drugs may seem normal in a gang but they aren't tolerated in ours. If caught with them, you get punished or kicked out, which would result into us killing them. It hasn't happened yet but it would have if those drugs hadn't killed them first.

We pulled up to my old house and I was feeling quite depressed after our discussion. My house is pretty big but semi-normal looking. It's a multi-brick house with four stories, a backyard pool, and two acres of woods fenced in. The inside is normal too except we have a training room where we practice fighting skills and shooting skills. I unload my stuff from the trunk with the help of the boys and we all walk inside. As soon as I walk in, I almost dropped my stuff. Ryan was standing in front of me with a clear look of shock on his face. He was wearing nothing but boxers and I did my best to keep my stare on his eyes. He looked fairly the same as well.

He still had his shaggy, black hair and dark brown eyes. To everyone, he looked like a normal guy but to me, his whole being caught me off guard when I first met him at the age of fourteen. The last time I saw him I was eighteen, and now he was twenty and I'm nineteen. After a long moment of silence, he finally spoke.

"Hi." I looked at him and narrowed my eyes. He still wasn't forgiven and if he thinks he is, he has a whole other thing coming to him. I heard Matt and Chris come in and they both stood behind me.

I mumbled a "hi." and then I ran upstairs to my old room. I unpacked my things and once I was done, there was a knock on the door. I looked up and I saw Chris enter my room. He looked like he had seen a ghost.

"Is something wrong Chris?" He shook his head and attempted a weak smile.

"No, nothing at all. I just wanted you to know that you’re going to be on your first job tonight. A couple of our spies noticed that the guy who has been selling drugs to our members has been going to a nearby club every Saturday. Tonight, you’re going to bait him and bring him into the back alley of the club. Try to be as seductive as possible, okay?" I nodded my head, trying to process it all. "I'll send you a text once we are positive he's in the club. In the text, it's going to have a description of what he's wearing and what he looks like. Now get dressed in this," He handed me a beautiful black dress, two inch blue pumps, and some very lacy stockings.

I got dressed and met everyone downstairs. Everyone was dressed up fairly nice. They all had dress shirts with nice jeans and the smell of cologne hung heavy in the air. I twitched my nose (a very bad habit, Chris says it makes me look like a bunny) and asked, "Ready?" They all nodded and Matt and Chris made their way to the truck.

I was about to follow them when I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around and I saw Ryan with a look of concern on his face.

"Are you ready?" He was staring at me intently, waiting for an answer.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said it as bitter as possible but it didn't seem to faze him. I walked to the door and in the blink of an eye he stood in front of me, blocking the doorway. He leaned forward and whispered in my ear, "You know, I can punish you now." He smirked and I pushed past him, turned around to face him again and said, "Piss off." And with that I walked to the car.
