Tristan Pov:
I could hear the soft sound of her feet running on the floor. There were so many halls in this mansion, I thought it'd be hard to find her, but her faint giggles in the distance helped me locate her easily.
I went in her direction and found her running down the hall. I stayed quiet and followed her, leaving distance between us so she didn't catch me.
All of a sudden, I heard a small feminine voice ahead which made Alina stop and look at the person. I knew exactly who the person was. What shocked me was the interaction between her and Amberleigh.
They spoke like they already knew each other. As I listened in on their conversation, I noticed that....they surely did know each other. Anger coursed inside me as I was still in shock by this huge surprise I was hit with.
Alina walked into her room after some time and I didn't follow her. My brain was hurting from thinking so much about them. Alina knew Amber....Amber knew Alina was all I could focus on.
I walked back and waited for her to exit the room so I could call her out. Alina had already done so much and this only added fuel to the fire she created for herself. There was no way I could let this go....she was gonna face my wrath today whether she wanted to or not.
I was not gonna let these stupid emotions of mines to let her slide. She had already done too many unforgivable things.
It felt like hours since she had gone into Amberleigh's room. I was getting very impatient waiting for her to leave. As if someone could understand my eagerness, she then came out of the room.
Her face had hints of warmth and happiness, but she also seemed to be anxious and alarmed. She looked around and started to walk down the hallway.
I hid myself so she wouldn't notice me, and I kept a distance from her but didn't let her out of my sight. My impatience became the ruler of my actions as I startled her with my hardened and furious voice.
"Do you think you can run from me? Hmm...?" I asked her in fury. "I know exactly where you went and you shouldn't have. Why were you there?"
I was rewarded without complete silence. She didn't answer any of my questions, Instead, she stood there shaking. Her eyes looked everywhere but my face and I wasn't happy with her response.
"Answer me!" I shouted at her.
"Uh...I..." She stammered out.
"I don't want to hear that bullshit, talk for fucks sake!"
Her mouth opened but no sound came out. She then closed it back after a few seconds of trying to think of the right thing to say to me.
"Why are you so quiet now, huh? You had no problem swearing and cursing me before, along with being defiant and not to forget kneeing me!" My eyes never stopped penetrating hers as I stridently yelled in her face.
She shut her eyes, inhaling and exhaling repeatedly before she tried her best to respond.
"I'm not quiet...just have nothing to s-say..." She finally answered.
I rolled my eyes, knowing that's completely a lie. "No need to play innocent, you know that huge damn hard head has a lot to fucking say!"
She crossed her arms across her chest, her eyes going up to my face but not meeting my eyes. "N-no" she whispered.
"Stop stuttering, I fucking hate that shit. Where did that big boldness and crazy ass ego go when you really need it..." I scoffed as she shrugged nonchalantly.
"Didn't I say not to roam these halls without my consent?!" I was beyond furious with her.
I didn't give her time to respond, because I continued yelling at her in frustration and anger. "You promised not to, and that's exactly what you fucking did!" If you could kill with your eyes, my glare would have been had her past 6 feet below.
