Part 3

Annie's pov :

I couldn't stop thinking about my time in that pub, with that friendly man no matter how I tried to distract myself. He just kept running through my head all day, so in the end, I decided to come back the next day. "hey" I said, coming into the pub, "hi Annie! Nice to see you again, I'm nearly finished my shift but we could always go down to the restaurant down the road but we can stay here if you want to I don't mind" he said. " umm I don't care" I said, shrugging, I didn't care where we went as long as I got to spend time with garcello but I didn't want to tell him that because it sounded soppy. So I followed him down the street, the streets were crowed with lots of different people and I think I've seen boyfriend and pico, it was hard keeping up with garcello so I had to walk fast. Suddenly out if nowhere, he grabbed my hand, and I felt an electric shock " sorry, just didn't want to lose you in the crowd" he said, I nodded and looked down cause I didn't want him to see me blushing. I was confused, why am I blushing? Is it of embarrassment or something else? When we made it down to the restaurant, he let go of my hand and surprisingly I was a bit disappointed that he wasn't holding it anymore, I needed him, I needed some sort of guidance cause I was only a 19 year old starting her life already, I needed somebody that I can reach out my hand to them and take it. I sighed as we made our way to our seats, if only my dad didn't start drinking then everything would be OK.... " hey Annie, are you OK? You've never opened your mouth once" said garcello, breaking my thoughts " yeah, I'm fine sorry" I said. He still looked concerned but played along, he picked up the menu " so what are you getting? I might get the steak special" he said, reading the menu. " umm I'm not sure yet.." I said, there was a lot of fancy names and I had no idea what kind of food there was. " I would recommend the stir fry, it's really good" he said, noticing my struggle, " heh OK thanks" I said, putting down the menu. " sorry about my acting all weird, I just have a lot of things on my mind" I said, " OK, that's OK but if you ever want to talk to someone, you can always talk to me, I'm always here" he said, patting my hand and again I felt an electric shock, I jerked my hand away from the shock. " sorry I keep doing that" he said, " no it's fine, really I don't mind" I said smiling at him. There was something inside of my saying that this felt  so right being in his company, I felt safe and I trusted him which is what I haven't felt like in a while. " so you want to get your usual?" he said grinning, I was confused," umm sorry?" I said. " do you want a beer?" he said "ohh... Sorry.. Yeah I don't mind heh" I said, blushing because of my stupidity. " hey its fine I was only joking, it's our inside joke cause I know how much you like beer" he said. " well yeah I do, but I also have my bottle of liquid" I said, producing a plastic bottle, " oh OK, well do you still want your beer or are you happy with your um.. Drink you have there?" he said. " ill have a beer" I said, beer reminded me of garcello, it made me feel all light a fuzzy on the inside. So we then ordered our food and drinks and then we waited, " heh this restaurant is fancy" I said, looking around, I only realised that because I was so wound up thinking about my past.... And garcello... " yeah, only the finest here" he said proudly, I smiled at him, I loved his personality. Then our food came and we ate it, and I got to say, that the food was amazing, but the beer wasn't the same or as good as the one garcello gave me yesterday. When we finished, I was so full that I couldn't move, garcello laughed at me " you OK there pal?" he said, I laughed too " yeah I'm fine but I feel like I'm about to explode" I said, draining the last of my beer. " same here, I could sleep for weeks now" he said, I grinned "your funny" I said to him before I could stop myself, " I'm flattered to hear that, thank you very much madam" he said. Tonight was the best night ever, and for once I didn't feel awkward around him anymore  " hey garcello.... Thanks for the best night of my life".
