it was around midnight, I realised me and naomi fell asleep in the car. I carefully laid her onto the seat, hoping i'm not waking her up. I drove back to our dorm, surprisingly not waking her up while doing so. I parked in the garage before carrying her bridal style up to my room. I shut the door behind me as I entered, before laying her down on my bed. her room was somehow locked so I don't really have a choice. I changed into a hoodie and grey sweats, also leaving out a hoodie for when she wakes up, before crawling under the covers. she somehow sensed my presence and shifted towards me. how the hell am I getting out of this one. I just tried to sleep, forgetting she was even there.
I awoke to an empty bed. just me myself and I. I see the hoodies gone, so she probably discovered her room was locked.
I get up and see her sitting on a bar stool eating scrambled eggs and toast. "hey." she said, not looking up from her phone.
"hey, sleep well?" I said, sitting across from her ready to eat.
"I guess." she replied, seeming down.
"hey everything okay?" I say, concern lining my voice.
"no not really." she blankly said. I abandon my breakfast, and start walking to naomi just to see her stupid brothers texts.
hey after university, don't come back. i'm kicking you out. your legally allowed to live on your own in a month, so don't even think about it. :)
I held naomi tight, with tears dripping onto my hands.
wait, I live alone? I actually live an hour away from here, and I have been looking for a roommate..
"hey after university, why don't you stay with me?" I lightly suggested, not wanting to pressure her. "I have enough for rent so don't worry about that, and I was looking for a roommate." I finally let out. she looked up at me, her eyes glossy from crying.
"really?" she confirmed, I nodded. she looked happy.
