Sorry About Yesterday...

Venti's POV
Venti went home that night feeling guilty thinking about what happened over and over it he spent a few hours thinking about how he could make it up to Xiao once he came up with a idea he unbraided his hair and got in a shirt and shorts and went to bed

The next morning

Venti's woke up bright and early and ran to the shower he took a quick shower and got out and dried himself and his hair then he quickly brushed his hair then braided it and ran back to his room to get his every day clothes on he then made his way down to the kitchen to get a apple and headed out the door he made a wind current and glided to the nearest food stand to get some almond tofu for Xiao none them ended up selling it so he just ended up making some himself and put it in a styrofoam box and them put it in a bag for extra measures since he was better in the air then on foot he made a wind current a glided to Liyue gliding from mountain to mountain once he got to Liyue he decided to first take a look on ground for Xiao

He checked everywhere he could on ground around Liyue and then took to the sky's but that also failed he began to worrying biting his nails frantically thinking it was all his fault he scared off Xiao even began to start thinking Xiao was purposely avoiding him but he took a deep breath and decided to go Zhongli's place to see if he knew anything

Venti eventually made it to Zhongli's place and continuously knocked on his door till someone answered Zhongli answered after a few knocks

Panick attack sorta (?)

Z "I'm here,Im here what do you-"
Z "Venti are you ok?!...You look like your about to have a panick attack-"

Venti continued to hyperventilate in a very panicked manner and tried in the best of his abilities to get a word out but simply couldn't

V "I need...help......Xiao"
Z "Venti!Breath,Breath...before you pass out."
Z "Take a deep breath."

Zhongli put his hand on Venti's shoulder and got on one knee so he get down to Venti's hight level and began to calm down Venti,practicing breathing until Venti fully calmed down and could get a word out

Z "Ok are you all calmed down now?"

Venti nodded

Z "Ok.Think about what your gonna say so I can help you."

Venti took a deep breath

V "I need help finding Xiao.I have been looking for him for hours-I got really drunk that day we met up and after you left I continued to flirt with him until..."
Z "Until...?"
V "Until I tried to kiss him Zhongli! ...And...and he ran away from me...."
Z "..."
V "And now I can't find him anywhere in Liyue...and I don't know what to do-

Zhongli laughed

V "W-what's so funny?!"
Z "Venti,you can't find him anywhere in Liyue cause he doesn't really stay around Liyue."
Zhongli said with a smile

V "..."
V "Oh my god...im...so embarrassed"
Venti said while covering his face with both hands

Z "Haha it's ok Venti it happens to the best of us."
Z "But let me actually help you.Try these two places.He usually goes to these places to ether calm down from stress or to clear his mind"
Zhongli said while writing something on a piece of paper Venti then took the paper

V "Bosacius's Tomb or Wangshu Inn?
Z "Yes,he occasionally goes to Bosacius's Tomb when he's stressed...but I'm not sure if that applies to you trying to kiss him-"
V "Ugh don't remind me..."
Venti said rolling his eyes Zhongli chuckled at Venti's reply
Z "And he also go's to Wangshu Inn either to clear his mind or to waste some free time and enjoy the land scape."
V "Thank you so much Zhongli I don't know how to thank you enough-"
Z "No need to thank me.Just go find Xiao."

After Venti helped Zhongli up from the ground and Zhongli cleaned himself off they both said there farewells and Venti made Wangshu Inn his first stop at where to find Xiao

Once Venti made it to Wangshu Inn he walked in nervous for obvious reasons,but he checked the almond tofu so he wouldn't get any odd looks once he made it up to the terrace ,where Xiao usually would lean on as he stared into the distance Venti crossed his fingers hoping Xiao would be there and to his surprise he was,Venti was so excited he wanted to drop everything and hug Xiao from behind and hug him for hours on end but he know he had to conceal his excitement and properly apologize to Xiao

V "H-Hey...Xiao!"
X "Hm?Oh hello Venti,did you need something?"
V "...H-Huh?!Oh y-yea I did but I wanted to give this to you first."

Venti handed Xiao the almond tofu

X "my favorite..." Xiao said under his breath
V "What was that?"
X "N-Nothing!...*cough cough* I mean nothing...Thank you.

They was silence for a bit

V "Hey Xiao...the real reason why I'm here actually is because-I wanted to say sorry about yesterday..."

Before Xiao could say anything Venti continued to speak frantically and say

V "It was uncalled for,disrespectful,and over all just pushing my boundaries...I mean for god sake I was already flirting with you-"

And before Xiao knew it Venti was walking back and forth apologizing and apologizing talking about how "wrong" his actions were

X "Venti..."
Venti continued to talk
X "Venti."
Venti continued to talk
X "VENTI!"

Venti stopped mid sentence and yelped

V "HUH?!...Oh did I get distracted again?-hehe oops"
X "Venti it's ok."
V "W-Wait what?"
X "It's ok.You we're drunk and it was an accident.I forgive you...so please stop apologizing."
V "Wait so...we're all good?"
X "Mhm."

V "Oh...so I guess I...take my leave now"

Even though he knew deep down he didn't want to but Venti began to walk to exit of Wangshu inn

X "Wait...don't leave"

Venti stood there stunned at the words that just came out of Xiao's mouth smiling from ear to ear poorly hiding his blush with his hands as he found it cute Xiao didn't want him to leave his side

V "Oh uhm...o-ok"
Venti sat down beside Xiao

Venti and Xiao spent the rest of the day sitting together admiring the scenery and sharing almond tofu as the sun set and the moon arose they sat together side by side not leaving each other talking for hours and hours
