What Are These Feelings...

Venti ended up falling a sleep next to Xiao a few hours after the sun had set Xiao didn't want to just leave him there but he didn't know where Venti's house was so he just decided to take him to his place he was hesitant at first but he just went with it he picked Venti up and carried him to his house swiftly and quickly making sure he didn't wake Venti in the process

Once Xiao got to his house he went straight to his room and placed Venti on his bed he remembered Venti still had his outside clothes on Xiao became embarrassed thinking about what he had to do but he knew it would be uncomfortable to sleep in those clothes so he took a deep breath and got some clothes out of his closet for Venti it being a simple white shirt and some black shorts he then undressed him and quickly put the clothes on before he knew it his heart was racing and was blushing so hard his face became red he put both hands over his face trying to calm himself down

He then also put on some shorts and a shirt and then got in his bed where Venti laid there sleeping he then sat beside Venti and softly ran his finger up and down Venti's face and whispered a few words

X "I don't know love...I just don't understand it-...but when I look at you,when I listen to you and your beautiful music,when I spend time with you...I feel something...something that I've never felt before......I don't know how to explain it...is this what they call......love?"

Xiao was silent for a bit

X "Good Night Venti."
Xiao then lightly kissed Venti's forehead and then laid down and went to bed

Little did Xiao know Venti heard everything he had woken up when Xiao started talking but pretended to be sleep so he wouldn't ruin the moment then he thought to himself

V "Does Xiao really...love me?..."
Venti then went back to sleep knowing Xiao would know he was awake sooner or later

:The next day:

Xiao woke up first,quietly getting out of bed to head to the kitchen to make Venti and him some breakfast
Venti woke up about an hour later waking up to Xiao yelling out

X "Venti!Wake up breakfast is ready!"

Venti couldn't help but think what Xiao said last night it spun around his head over and over he was so surprised that Xiao felt that type of way about him but it's not like he didn't share those feelings he felt the completely same way about Xiao but he didn't want to keep him waiting for to long so he then yelled out

V "Oh!...C-Coming!"
Venti made his way down to the Kitchen

X "Good morning,your food is on the table."
V "Good morning!And ok thanks!"
X "Y-Your welcome..."

Venti sat at the table and began to eat and so did Xiao but Xiao soon noticed that Venti's mind was somewhere else

X "Venti...you alright?Are you thinking about something?"
V "H-Huh?Yea I'm ok...and no I'm not-we'll actually yea I am thinking about something...maybe you could help me?"
X "Hm?Sure whats the question?"
V "Did you say something to me last night?"

:CURSING:

A chill went down Xiao's spine he then began thinking to himself
X "D-Did he hear what I said?!...If so why didn't he say something?!Fuck what do I say-"

Xiao then said out loud
X "N-No?"

Xiao felt bad for lying to Venti but he just wasn't ready to tell Venti he was in love with him yet

V "Oh must of been a dream then..."
V "Welp anyway the food is really good!"
X "Oh...thanks,glad you like it."

Venti then thought to himself
V "Of course he denied it what did I expect?"

Venti then shot Xiao a reassuring smile so he wouldn't worry about the question he just asked

Later that day
Venti went home and thought about Xiao for hours

V "Oh Xiao...why can't you just admit you love me...I'm not good with these kinda things."
He grumbled
Venti not believing what just came out of his mouth he then said
V "Wow...I can't believe ME the archon of Wind and Freedom just said that out of my own mouth..."
V "Ugh I need a drink-cause I'm obviously not thinking straight right now..."

He said while messaging the corners of his eyes

Venti got up from his bed and took a shower once he finished he unbraided his hair brushed it out and then braided it up again once he did that he finished drying himself and went back to his room to get dressed he quickly dressed up and headed to Diluc's winery
Once he got there he was greeted by Diluc drying wine glasses and beer glasses like usual but to his surprise Kaeya and Rosaria were already there having few drinks Keaya annoying Diluc like always and Rosaria continuing to drink her drink while occasionally listening and then zoning off

V "Hey!"
D "Hello."
K "Why hello Venti!"
R "Hey Venti."
V "One glass of your dandelion wine Diluc!"
D "Mhm."

Diluc made Venti's drink and handed to him

V "Thanks!"
V "Hm it seems like I came at the right time cause I have some gossip I've been wanting to share with yall!"
Venti said while winking

D "Hm?"
K "Is that so?Do tell."
R "I agree with Kaeya."
V "Ok so you didn't here this from me..."
K "We're listening..."
V "But some little birdy told me..."
D "Mhm?"

D "Hm?Oh I'm not surprised,I saw them making out in a alley once.Jean begged me not to tell anyone and Lisa didn't even looked like she cared one bit."
