Toji and Gojo opened the door to the apartment Toji's kids were being taken care in by who-knows-who.
Gojo immediately beamed, and Toji gave himself a smile inside, until realizing something. The older sister, four years old, was named Tsumiki, and was a girl, but the younger one, two years old,.....was Megumi.
'Fck, he's a boy.'
"Tsumiki..who awh they?" Megumi's pronounciation was flawed, but you could tell what he was saying (and it was also cute).
Tsumiki held her brother and didn't say anything.
"They are so cute!" Gojo said, moving closer while keeping some distance.
Megumi used the table as support and walked right past Gojo, towards Toji. Toji bent down and looked at his son.
"Lwooks like meh! Dad?" Megumi pointed to Toji's eyes with wide eyes.
"Perceptive." Toji commented, and without knowing, he patted the boy's head.
"A d o r a b l e." Gojo beamed.
"But...uhm..." Tsumiki began.
"I'm your dad, and basically I'm supposed to raise all of you." Toji said quite bluntly, and upon seeing how Megumi was practically tugging on Toji's shirt, no one complained.
=======
Toji's routine became quite simple after a few weeks. Thank heavens Megumi and Tsumiki were quick learners and also not noisy children.
He'd drop off the kids at their daycare and school, then do some work, pick them up, and then most likely be greeted with an annoying-ass Gojo who really just wanted to see the kids.
"Megumi, eat it." Toji said, and after a bit of pouting, the toddler stuffed the food in his mouth, giving a disgusted look after.
"Harsh, but you do care." Gojo laughed.
"Why do you always come here, you're supposed to visit once a week." Toji asked.
"Welll, I don't want to see my annoying teacher and classmates, I'm bored, and the kids are adorable." Gojo laughed, petting Megumi and Tsumiki at the same time.
Toji gave him a disgusted look. "Are you a child lover or something?"
"I- that's a very PG way to describe that, but is your expectation of me that low?"
"It is."
"Well, I'm not."
They were interrupted by Megumi falling off his seat, tears dribbling down his face and a little bump on his head. Tsumiki jumped off and ran to her little brother.
"It's okay, it's okay!"
Toji picked up Megumi and rubbed his wound a bit, seeing the little boy dry up his tears and sniffle. He hugged Tsumiki tightly.
Hm, maybe Gojo isn't wrong.
