"What a childish game you're making them play." Toji rolled his eyes, sitting in his chair and waiting for the game to start.

"Childish? Come on, it's their youth. Let them let loose for a while. I thought you'd be a fan of this." Gojo laughed, crossing his legs.

They were watching in another room, separate from the other instructors, just so Toji's existence wouldn't be revealed.

"Why do I have to watch this too?" Nanami groaned, sitting beside Toji.

"We. Are. Going. To. Have. Fun. Watching. This. Understand?" Gojo clapped his hands with every word, clear he wasn't going to take any complaints.

Toji sighed. Megumi and some other random strong ones were fighting as well, so it wouldn't be as boring.

Come to think of it, how would his son go against those third years? Now he was actually interested.

"So, my final thing to say is, don't die." Maki stretched her arms, looking at the first years. "Don't be a burden, don't die, and don't embarrass us, gotcha?"

"They're all relatively the same thing, aren't they?" Megumi asked.

"Shut up."

After their little pep talk, the battle started. Itadori immediately headed for Todo, and Megumi went to look for Kamo Noritoshi, that blood guy.

As soon as he found him, he went in and attacked without a second thought. He made a small stab in the side, and thankfully, or not thankfully, Kamo was quick enough to dodge a more dangerous wound.

"A shikigami sorcerer, who uses cursed weapons? And fights physically as well? Interesting. Let's see what you have."

Megumi didn't need to say another word, but he dropped his weapon into his shadow and summoned his Nue right away, and it flew to electrocute Kamo.

That slight stun for a moment gave Megumi the opening he needed to kick Kamo down and land another hit.

The latter quickly got up, and this time, he was serious. He threw up several blood packs and manipulated them with his curse technique.

'Hum, the area around is a bit too small...but I see a clearing up ahead.'

Megumi scanned the area around, and distracted Kamo into a much more, let's say, spacious area.

And then, he summoned his elephant.

Megumi flooded the area and escaped on Nue, looking for Kamo, who probably had already fallen off some ridge.

It's gotta hurt, but it's not his problem.
