Chapter 1 : Clueless

"Miss Carter?" I heard that voice unconditionally, like I just woke up from a dream or maybe a nightmare, I looked around me and saw people sitting in front of me looking at me, I can see the sunshine peek behind the curtains, and then i looked at what I was wearing, I was wearing a formal skirt and a blouse, I hated formal clothes, why did I wear it? I asked my self.

"Miss Carter?, is there something wrong?" the voice asked again, I was shaking and fearful of what is happening. I didn't know what was going on, and suddenly i forgot my name, my age, my home...

I heard them murmuring behind my ears, my heart beats is fasting and fasting, the palm of my hands is sweaty, and i couldn't breath, what is wrong with me? what is wrong with? I asked my self unconsciously of what is happening again and again.

"Miss Carter do you need water?" the voice again appeared, and suddenly I recognized the voice, it was a woman voice, but why is she asking me that question, am I sweating? I was anxious of everything.

I still don't know my name, age or home, I couldn't handle all the stress, so I ran out of the room.

"Miss Carter where are you going!?" they screamed and so on I ran and ran, when i got out of the room there was people looking at me, like I just killed a person, but still I was running, and finally I saw a big glass door, I could see the cars passing by and people waking on the street from the door.

I pushed the door and went out, it feels like it was 60°F, the sky was almost clear and the sun is sneaking behind the clouds, then people start pushing me while I was walking to nowhere, when people started pushing me I remembered where am I, I was in NewYork Manhattan, where it never sleep.

I was holding a black bag, I remembered that I don't know anything about me, so i just open the bag and started looking for any identity, or any clue of who am I, But I was clueless.

I found a wallet and opened it, it had a picture of me and I immediately looked for the name, I found "Name: Lauren Carter, birthdate: 1994-27-12, Born place: United States of America, Chicago"
