Henry and I went to the rink. We went to the locker room to get ready."Signups for try outs for main high school hockey team will be up in 3 days."Henry said.
"Cant wait."
"Me neither."
"Don't you love how it snows everyday here. Even in summer. Tempeture never higher than 30 all year. Always snow on the ground."
"I love it,I know you do to. Remind me everyday." He had gotten pads on and was now on his jersey. I had already done that and was now on my skates. We have to be ready."
"I know,I know.Go on out I'll meet you there."
"Ok." I went out of the hockey room to the hallway. I turned to these flaps that counted as doors. When I was young I use to swing from them singing" George,George,George of the jungle, watch out for that tree." When I got a little bit older I would run through them feeling the plastic on my skin. Now I just walk through them. I walked up to the rink door pushed the puck in the door and open it. I put my skates on ice. I began to feel alive. I skated around the rink letting the air hit me through my helmet as I skated by. This is where I belonged. I closed my eyes and let my feet see. I pretended to hit someone, to shoot the puck, to ride my stick as a celebration, whole time eyes closed. I went back to skating around the rink ,eyes closed, when my feet flew out from under me,I opened my eyes to see the ice coming closer and closer."Cliff!" I laughed.
"Sorry. Couldn't help my self."
I got up and punched right in the groan." If you ever make it in the nhl, your going to have the most penalty minutes dude".
Cliff coverd his stomach as trying to take out the pain." You and I could be equal stace".
Henry and Eliot came out. Eliot was my other best friend next to henry and cliff. He has been since 1st grade like the other 2. Eliot lived on the other side of my hotel room and cliff next to him. All of us were best friends expect for eliot and henry. I wanted to change that." Ok cliff and me vs you two."
"Ok". Eliot said.
"Dealo." That was cliff.
"Fine by me." Henry." First let us have our warm up laps."
"Fine, chop, chop." We laughed."This is my team."
