Scene: Hiccup's bedroom
[The music box suddenly moves away before Lance and Adrien entered, then Adrien suspects Hiccup's diary as Lance suspects the closet.]
Lance: Do you see anything suspicious? Ugh, perhaps I should conjure a spell to try-
Adrien: (reads Hiccup's diary) Dear diary, today is Aunt Sabine's birthday...
Adrien earns a yo-yo bonk from his lady and a tail whack from a Night Fury.
Lance: Adrien, you shouldn't read that.
Adrien: I'm looking for clues.
[Lance crossed his arms as Adrien continues reading.]
Adrien: (reads Hiccup's diary) Dear diary, today I got a gift from my number one fan.
Lance: Wait, what gift?
Adrien: Uh... Beautiful music box.
[Lance and Adrien start looking for the music box until Toothless found it on the shelf. Lance touched the music box then it opened causing Toothless to snarl as Lance picks it up.]
Adrien: Those are Dream Crystals.
Lance: This wasn't sent to Hiccup by a fan, which means...
[Both Lance and Adrien take a closer look at the box then scream when something pops up from the music box and drops it as it turns out to be a Sentimonster. The Sentimonster squeaks as it tries to escape.]
Lance & Adrien: Crystal Gelacio!
[Sentimonster was captured.]
Adrien: Now, tell us where Hiccup is!
Lance: Better yet, show us. Crystal Veritus!
[The spell projects the Sentimonster's mind to show the abandoned house.]
Scene: Abandoned house
Tuffnut: Look what we caught for you, Your Big Bad Worshipfulness!
[Hawkmoth emerges from the crystal as he evilly laughs.]
Hiccup: (gasps) You tricked me!
Hawkmoth: Yes. It wasn't too difficult.
Hiccup: You think you can get away with what you've done to Dragan, but you won't. I'll stop you.
Hawkmoth: (laughs) So you say. However, if you ever want to see your parents again, perhaps we could make a little deal. Work for me and your parents will be free.
[Hiccup gasps.]
Hiccup: Oh no, I'm not falling for his tricks!
Hawkmoth: Continue to fight me, and the outcome is not so sweet.
Hiccup: I know how bad you are.
