Sonia: " is that why you were in that alley way Y/N?"

Y/N: "...yeah"

I sit back down on the couch and let my head rest in my hands

Sonia: "why didn't you tell me?"

Y/N: "what is there to tell?! Your Sonia the hedgehog a celebrity in the 10 isles and beyond and then there's Y/N the average schmuck who up until recently worked at a tech company"

I sigh

Y/N: " we don't even know each other personally let alone professionally, we just bumped into each other, and I hitched a ride that's all."

I begin to tap my foot

Y/N: "now I have to find out how I'm going to afford the rent that's due in two weeks or else I'll be stuck without a house too"

Sonia: "but you co-"

Y/N: "what? Could have come to you for help? I seriously doubt that you'd stick your neck out for someone you barely know."

I sink further into the couch

Y/N: " look Sonia I apologize for lashing out at you, but frankly its not looking good for me. I appreciate your concern but... worry about someone who actually matters..."

Sonia: "But how can you say that Y/N!? You do matter to the people who care about you!"

Y/N: "that's besides the fact that i don't have a way to make a steady income at the moment."

I look up at her and see her thinking hard about something

Y/N: "I just don't know what to do right now"

I let out a deep sigh as i sink more into the couch cushions

Y/N: "and frankly this was all i had and now it'll be gone soon heh"

I notice Sonia going over to sit next to me

Y/N: "maybe I can apply at other companies to see if i can get hired in time before rents due to at least give the landlord something then pay the rest next month.  but that's if I can get hired before the two weeks is up."

I look up at the ceiling

Y/N: " maybe the rival company would be looking for new hi-"

Sonia: " or you could work for me."

I can't utter a word

I just look at Sonia with my eyes bulging out of their sockets
