Jeremy was very excited.

Why, you ask?

Well, maybe because he got to see the maestro's magic in action as he made dinner for the two.

He was sitting in his chair, watching Balan as he made food.

Balan spun and twirled around as he took the dishes and food and placed them where they belonged, and mixed the food, and everything else you need to do to make food because I have no idea how to cook.

While Balan was finishing up, a question popped up in Jeremy's head.

What would happen if he took his hat off?

Jeremy was so deep in thought that he didn't even notice that Balan was waving his hand in front of Jeremy's face to get his attention.

Jeremy still didn't move.

Balan sighed, and then kissed the Russian's cheek.

Jeremy blinked.

Well that did something.

He flushed in embarrassment.

"Oh! I-uhm, s-sorry...I was just thinking about something..." Jeremy explained.

Balan chuckled. "It's quite alright, dear. I was just letting you know that supper is here!"

Jeremy's eyes lit up, and he straightened his back. (Like I should be doing-)

It was breakfast for dinner.

Fluffy pancakes with a delicious crust, eggs, bacon, and sausages.

Jeremy's mouth watered.

He licked his lips, ready to dig in to the food.

Balan watched as Jeremy took the first bite of his food.

His eyes sparkled as he was in complete bliss.

"Oh my god that is good! Thank you so much!"

Balan blushed and scratched the back of his neck.

Jeremy continued to devour his food.

Balan sat down across from him and watched his love eat the meal he made for him.

Balan lovingly sighed at the sight of a happy man.

His happy man, to be precise.

"Hey, why aren't you eating anything?"

Balan blinked. "What do you mean?"

"You gave me a plate of food, but you didn't give yourself one." Jeremy put his fork down and frowned.

"Ah, well, you see..." Balan struggled for an excuse.

"Can you not eat?" Jeremy looked him up and down.

Then he realized something.

I've never seen him take his hat off.

"Hm, can you take your hat off, Balan?"

Balan's eyes widened.

"Are you asking me to do that, or are you asking if I'm able to?"

"Both."

Jeremy noticed that the maestro looked nervous.

"Are you afraid of me judging you?"

Balan stared. Jeremy detected a hint of fear in Balan's large yellow eyes.
