Ahsoka doesn't realise how much of herself she sees in Omega until she accidentally calls her 'Snips'.

Ahsoka fits into the Bad Batch better than anyone could've anticipated.

Hunter takes her under his wing just like Rex did. He's a steady presence, like Echo- not always needing words to provide comfort or guidance. Her ability to read emotions through the Force lets her know when his heightened senses are causing too much pain, and she's offering him painkillers before the rest of the squad even notice.

"Thanks, kid," he grumbles, accepting the medicine without any protest as a testament to his pain.

Ahsoka nods, leaving the Sergeant as quickly as she came, not wanting to speak in case that made the pain worse. Force knows, her montrals used to ring terribly after battles.

She feels safe around him, often finding Hunter already awake whenever a nightmare stops her from sleeping. They'll sit in the cockpit of the Marauder, the Sergeant listening intently to her stories from the war, both the good and the bad.

Wrecker terrifyingly reminds her of Jesse, always raring for a bit of excitement or a fight but also being incredibly soft and gentle. Ahsoka admires how protective he is over Omega, being a best friend to the girl whereas the others are more like fatherly figures, especially Hunter who is almost as much of a dad as Obi-Wan.

As soon as her leg heals up and she gains most of the weight she lost, Wrecker starts helping her get back into shape, proving to be a good sparring partner as his size and strength challenge her immensely.

Tech's rather interesting. At first, she thinks he doesn't like her, but Echo assures her that he speaks to everyone in an awkward and anti-charismatic way. It isn't until Tech learns about her knowledge of Galactic History from her studies at the Temple that he has a full conversation with her. From then on, she likes to talk to him during mealtimes.

"So, the Jedi don't shun attachment?" He asks one morning, chewing a mouthful of mush.

"They encourage compassion, but not attachment. They used to say it would lead to the Dark side," she explains, feeling everyone's eyes on her. "I... think that attachment is the least of our problems right now."

"I'd say so," Tech agrees, shrugging.

He reminds her of Barriss, always attentive even if he isn't actively participating in a conversation.

Echo is... well, he's just like he used to be. It takes Ahsoka a while to feel comfortable looking at his cybernetics, and she is still hesitant to touch the metal additions to her friend, worrying that she's overstepping a boundary. Echo's the one who she feels like she can talk to the most, being able to share memories and remembrances for lost friends.

"Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum," they say together every night, then take turns to say the names of their loved ones, finishing with the ones they hold closest to their hearts.

"Fives."

"Anakin."

When Omega curiously asks what they're doing, Ahsoka explains with wet eyes, and the girl immediately asks if she's welcome to join in. They gladly agree, and it becomes a daily ritual.

It's becoming easier for Ahsoka to deal with everything she's lost now she's reunited with an old brother, met some new ones, and even found out that she has a sister in the Batch.

Omega quickly becomes a friend after she nervously approaches Ahsoka because there's blood on her underwear and she doesn't know why. From that day forwards, Ahsoka commits herself to being a carer and protector for the girl, just like Anakin and Padmé were for her.
