His smile is brighter than the sun

Bakugo's POV

Once the redhead opened it's eyes, they shot me a small smile.

"Hey", the redhead finally said after staring at me for some time. I tried to say something but nothing came out. I was so confused on how this even happened in the first place. "So uh what's your name", they asked. "Katsuki Bakugo", I managed to say. "My name's Eijiro Kirishima, it's nice to meet you", he said with the brightest smile I've ever seen. That smile's so fucking bright that it might actually blind someone. I looked at Kirishima's tail and saw that it was slowely evaporating.

It was later replaced with a pair of legs. "What in the fairytale bullshit is this", I blurted out without thinking straight.(well you can't think straight because you aren't)  He just chuckled then said, "Well I'm a mermaid but when I hit land I can transform human." "Well no shit you're a mermaid, I just saw a tail grow out of your ass", I said harsher than I intended it to be. He chuckled again. When he chuckled I felt my heart skip a beat. What the fuck is happening today?

I shrieked when I saw that he had no clothing on whatsoever. I quickly looked away and shoved my towel towards his direction. Kirishima laughed then spoke again, "I live pretty far off in the ocean so you're probably wondering how I got here and why you found me so close to land. Well the answer is that I wanted to run away from home for a little because me and my brother got into a fight. I know it sounds pretty dramatic to say the least but while I was swimming I hit my tail against a rock pretty badly so that's why you might've heard me scream. But thank you for helping me Bakugo."

"Dumbass", was all I managed to say. He then spoke again, "This might sound totally random but I like your voice." "Fucking weirdo", I said while feeling my face slightly heat up. I heard my stomach growl and started feeling extremely hungry. "Oh you seem a bit hungry, I am too", Kirishima said with that bright smile of his. "One day you're actually going to blind someone with that smile of yours", I said dramatically squinting. He just chuckled at that statement.

Maybe I should bring him back to my place for dinner? Or is that too soon? I mean we barely know each other but I can't just leave him here all by himself. "Hey", I said trying to get his attention. He looked up at me waiting for me to continue, "Would you like to come to my place for dinner?" Kirishima smiled and agreed.

As I was walking towards the exit I turned back to see that Kirishima was still sitting on the floor. "What are you waiting for dumbass", I asked slightly annoyed. "The thing is I can't walk", he said looking away with embarrassement. "So why the fuck do you have legs if you can't walk", I asked genually confused. He sighed then said, "Its like everyone else, I need to learn how to walk first since I've never actually been on land before." You've got to be kidding me. Now I have to teach this nerd how to walk!? I sighed then proceeded to picking him up. I saw that his cheeks turn a tint of pink.

While walking towards the house Kirishima put his muscular arms around my neck and buried his face onto my neck. His touch was gentle and warm. I could also feel his breathe against my neck. It sent shivers down my spine.

Once we got to the house I layed him on the couch near the kitchen. I was really in the mood for meat today. (watch there be dirty comments smh) I decided to cook some steak and rice. "Hey shitty hair have you tried steak before", I asked him while preparing the ingredients. "Actually I haven't tried it before. The only thing I've ever eaten is seaweed and fish. Us mermaids can live off of that you know", he said casually. I stared at him with my mouth hanging open, staring at him in pure shock. "Oh my gosh you poor innocent soul", I said to him, "You're in for a treat then."
