19: ...Jam?

Hoseok was peaking through the curtains watching the people walk by. The time was 8:07 am and it had been 2 days since he had woken up from his 1000 some year nap. It had also been 2 hours since he had been awake after sleeping through the night.

That actually, was kind of an inaccurate statement because he had only slept about 3 hours...

Oh well, Hoseok felt fine. From what he knew he didn't need sleep anyways. That's why he didn't understand why Jin slept in till 11 am, along with the concept of pajamas...

Why sleep if you don't need to? And what's the point of wearing clothes for the night that you have to take off in the morning?

Suddenly a scream came from the hallway the bedrooms were located in. It was strange though, it didn't sound like Jin. Who could it possibly have be-

"JIMIN!"

Hoseok ran to the room Jimin had been sleeping in, making enough noise for Jin to wake up.

The former servant was standing in the corner of the room looking around frantically. "G-General!? What is this place?!?"

Jin came rushing in as well, almost slamming himself into a wall. "JIMIn your awake!" He said getting dizzy from getting up so fast then running.

Seeing the person Jimin recognized as God confused him so much he simply passed out. It was all too much.

Luckily, the corner Jimin was in was next to the bed so he didn't hurt himself by falling.

Not that it would actually harm him, but he would still feel the momentary pain if he were conscious.

"Shit" Jin said after watching the boy fall.

Hoseok went to try an lift him onto the bed, but was stopped by Jin.

"There's an easier way to do that y'kno." He said then walked over to him and making Jimin float. Once he was in a good position, he then slowly put Jimin down, however it was tempting to just drop him.

"ah" Hoseok simply said. It would take a while to get used to seeing things like that, let alone do things like that.

It was now lunch time and Jimin was still passed out. Hoseok was starting to get hungry, even though he thought gods didn't have human needs.

"Hungry?" Jin asked from across the living room.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Hoseok asked thinking it was another one of Jim's many talents.

"I could hear your stomach gurgling from over here" Jin said chuckling.

"oh"

Yesterday for lunch they had this thing called ramen, which Jin said had to be the easiest thing to make. Hoseok however didn't dare to even attempt at making the so-called ramen as the controllable flame machine, known as a 'stove' scared him to death.

Even if he was immortal.

"What shall we have today..." Jin trailed off thinking. He didn't really feel like making anything that took actual time and effort since Jin didn't normally even eat lunch.

"Oh I know, we could have sandwiches." He said in conclusion.

"..sandwiches" Hoseok repeated questioningly.

"yep" Jin stood up. "they're so easy to make I don't have to transfer the information to you."

They headed over to the kitchen.

Jin got out the bread but stopped when he realized that he didn't have any lunchmeat in the fridge.

Looking on the top shelf he saw that there was some jam that he got from an old lady that was going door to door selling it. When she had gotten to Jin's house she had just given it to him for free.

It was a strange memory to be honest. Jin had a positive feeling that she knew something about his godliness.

He had also got out the peanut butter and set the things on the table.

"so today we will be making PB&J, also known as peanut butter and jelly." Jin explained, "this food doesn't need the stove to be prepared."

Hoseok was relieved, he didn't want to have to rely on the flame controller to prepare his meals.

"First, you get out two slices of bread and spread peanut butter on it, then you add the jam-"

"Why do you called it peanut butter and jelly if you use jam?"

Hoseok and Jin both jumped, startled.

Jimin had been watching them make the sandwich and neither of them noticed.

"Uh, we'll i'm not sure- bUT HEY when did you get up?!? Are you ok? How do you feel? Does your head hurt?" Jin asked.

"Well i've actually been awake listening to you two for a while now, and seeing the calendar in the room, I've come to the conclusion that this is the future.. and.. hoseok and I have become gods..?"

"Yep, Jimin you seem to have grasped this reality much better now." Jin said confirming his assumptions.

Jimin seems to be taking it better than Hoseok, Jin thought. "Well, now that both of you have seen the demonstration, how about you give it a try?"

The two moved closer to the counter and made they're pb&j's. Both having a difficult time.

"Done!" both said at the same time. They seemed to have been having a mini competition of their own.

"Not bad, not bad" Jin said inspecting the sandwiches.

They then ate they're self made meals and talked about things retaining to the current world. Mostly Hoseok and Jimin asking about things and Jin explaining them to the best of his knowledge.

Eventually they finished but there conversation continued to the topic of being a god.

Jin had told them he would teach them how to do things the best he could. He also informed them that they should not attempt to do these things in public as people now days we're smarter than ever.

Since Jimin was actually pretty young (19) when he was turned, he still appears and feels that age. Only technically he's considered 1019 years old, physically and mentally, he is still 19. Along with Hoseok who was 22 when turned.

This means that they don't have to go to school. Jin mentioned that eventually they should get jobs, at least part time so that he didn't have to worry about paying for all three of there expenses.

i didn't realize how many people started reading this!!! It has a lil more than 1k views!! That's amazing!! i really thought this book was a cringe fest but u guys seem to like it so i'll try my best to continue!!
