Ch. 17 Wedding

An Bai is a Business consultant and knew people from almost every industry. So when his wedding was decided the news was filled of who was partaking in it.

An Bai was secretive about his relationship with his partner but everyone knew he was a loving and loyal fiancé.

Mostly because he always talked about her whenever he could and it's been years. Whenever someone thought he'd change girls he'd proudly say it's the same one and not to jinx him or he'll break off any future advice to them.

An Bai became the symbol of passion for his strong relationship and leadership skills. Without him knowing, years later he'll be known as cupid.

Dan Dan is An Bais future wife and as co-workers everyone in the crochet shop had to go and congratulate them.

As for An Bai he decided to invite Zhao Yunlan and his gang since lately they've grown closer due to Zhao Yunlans constant pestering to go play paintball and escape rooms.

Otherwise it was just business acquaintance he had to show hospitality.

Everyone walked into the VVIP Hotel that could fit thousands of people. In the past it was a ballroom and now it's the hotels banquet hall.

Every table had people's name in order to not make it chaotic. Servants would escort the guests into their table and start them off with something light.

An Bai's brother, An Song brought Sang Zan as his guest since their like sworn brothers who are working at deliveries.

It was only An Bai and Dan Dan that were at the highest point and the center. Close relatives were right below them.

As An Bai went greeting his acquaintances, Dan Dan went to introduce her co-workers with An Bais new friends.

"Hey, everyone. I'm Dan Dan. An Bais wife. The people on the right are my co-workers. We work at a crochet store. And the people on the left are An Bais pals. *giggle* With Zhao Yunlan things always turn out messy so I dread what'll happen later." Said Dan Dan happily.

Everyone started smiling and shaking hands introducing each other.

It was only An Song that could tell arrows were being shot from one side to another. He turned to see his friend Sang  Zan to complain but he too got entranced by Wang Zheng.

"Where's boss?" Dan Dan asked frowning.

"You know how he is. He's working. Yezhun said he'd come in his place but then boss caught a cold so now he sent his girlfriend here" explained Li Qian frustrated.

"Such a joyous day, he should have come and relaxed" stated Dan Dan.

"Parties aren't his Forte anyway. Might have made him more paler than he was already!" Dined in Sha Ya.

"Oh. Well I hope everyone here feels welcomed. I'm going to go talk with my family now" said Dan Dan.

Zhu Hong came in and pat Wang Zheng on her shoulder,"Hi, how's things going?" She asked.

"Just started. What do Weddings usually have on the menu?" Asked Lin Jing.

Zhu Hong raised an eyebrow and got surprised.

"Oh! No way! You guys are here too?! It's been a while" exclaimed Zhu Hong.

"I'm guessing your this Yezhuns girlfriend now?" Asked Zhao Yunlan.

"Right. I could ramble on about it but Yezhun was asked by his brother to hand out some business cards" explained Zhu Hong tiredly.

"Before you go, you better do a full length presentation on some matters later" Da Qing shyly said.

Zhu Hong just winked and walked away after handing the crochet shops business card and her own (the day care that's bring made into a public elementary school).

"Zhu Hong sticks to Yezhun like glue. I should've known there was a reason for her to come. Even if boss hated parties and got forced to come he'd thought up a plan to make it beneficial." Stressed out Da Ji rubbing her temples.

"Yezhun prioritizes his big brother as much as boss does him. It was obvious when their relationship started as Zhu Hong dragged Yezhun shoe shopping and he didn't make much of a struggle for freedom anymore" Hua Yu zhu said laughing at those memories.

"Since the cards are out and we're much closer than we appear, I'll just do an elevator pitch on our small business" said Ye Huo.

"I'll start it off first then," followed Hua Yu Zhu. "My husband, Gu Ban is an appraiser. And I'm a florist. We recently moved to Dragon City and looked for jobs online of course.

We came across the newly created store being maned by one person needing a lot of help. That's why we were inclined to apply.

Despite it being a small store everyday we get orders ranging from 50-750 people each wanting large quantities. Our items are mostly hand made so it's almost impossible to do day-off deliveries. We take a lot of efforts trying to remind costumers that their orders may not arrive until 2 weeks later.

Even with all those orders, our boss still decided to do local sales. Those sales are key to getting the word out as we don't have a physical store.

We all work in our homes and book a place somewhere when we need to discuss something urgent or to check up. "

"That's the story of our shop. Right now we're only selling flowers and brooches. But Boss wants to do seasonal work. In fact two days back he sent us the new design. We're still debating to add it to our store or replace it since we're so short staffed. Off topic, we'll be moving on to animals. Our major concept is nature after all so we can't do any foods or shapes like hearts. " added Wang Zheng.

"That's the gist of it. Since your friends with An Bai I'm guessing you have your own business or where do you work?" Asked Li Qian. Hiding her deep appreciation for Shen Wei who took care of her when her Grandman passed away and was lost in what to do with her life.

"I'm sure later you'll here more about it, so I'll just briefly mention their profession. Ling Jing here is a mad inventor who owns a Pottery and jewelry studio for artist to use. Da Qing is a Vet. Here we have my bodyguard, Chu Shu Zhi and my assistant Guo ChangCheng. I'm an artist, " said Zhao Yunlan not wanting to hear them exaggerate their work.

"I'm sure you all know, but I'm An Bai's brother, An Song. And this is my sworn brother Sang Zan" said An Song feeling relieved that Hua Yu zhu is married and Ye Huo isn't throwing hearts at anyone.

Sang Zan nodded at everyone and hid behind his drink.

Zhao Yunlan looked at the card and felt like he should help this new business. He thought about all the how's and what's.

Since no one paid attention to him he started making more detailed plans to present to the boss in his head.

He determined curiously, Why Zhujio wasn't there when he was a big businessman. His heart was broken since that meant he couldn't see Shen Wei.

But this boss reminds him of Shen Wei maybe that's why he was instantly warmed as his subordinates talked of him and why he wanted to help him.

*Author's note: I'll be out for a week until the first of August Saturday passes. So I won't be able to update. Another thing. I'm planning to make Shen Wei have had marry Zhujio for only 5 years instead of 7.
