**OLIVIA'S POV**

I groan silently. "Do you guys need to go?"

My grandpa nodded and patted my shoulder. "I'm so sorry baby girl, but your grandma and I need to be in Chicago. Your grand aunt is sick and there's no other family aside for her sister, your grandma, so we need to go." He explained sadly. "You know if it wasn't serious, we wouldn't leave you here alone, right?"

I nodded sadly and pouted. "But you'd be gone till after Christmas. Can't we just fly her over here? I mean there are very good hospitals here. Bills on me."

He shook his head in denial. "I wish we could, but Martha has a phobia for planes. She'll never want to get into one especially now that she's sick."

I sighed. That's true. "So you guys will just leave 23 days to Christmas? I mean it may sound selfish but I don't know how Christmas will be without you. You know you two are all I got, gramps."

" And that's why your grandma and I have been begging you to find a life partner for cases like this. If you had a man..."

I roll my eyes. "Enough gramps. You know what, just take care of Mama Martha, okay? Call me if you need anything. Anything."

Grandma walked in with one of the maids pushing her luggage out. "Nonsense baby. Nonsense. You already credit our accounts weekly, so no need. But I tell you what, grandpa and I will call every single day cause we'll be missing you so much. We'll call during dinner time, okay?"

I nodded with a pout. "It's gonna be a very big empty house without you two."

Grandma pulled me in for a tight hug. "What matters is we'll always be connected by our love for each other. We'll miss you so much, honey. And please while we're away, don't work yourself too much. Sit back and enjoy the holiday, okay? We'll be back before the New Year."

I nodded and kissed her cheek.

"Meghan honey, we need to get going or we might miss our flight." Grandpa said to grandma.

I sigh again. "And I still don't know why you refused to use the jet. You know I have two so letting you guys use one wouldn't pose a problem."

Grandma adjusted the collar of my shirt although it had no problem. "It's not about having two jets or anything, your grandpa and I don't get much time to socialize with others and public transport seems like the best way. We're not complaining. I know you don't mind letting us use one of your jets but we want public transport, okay?"

I rolled my eyes. It's so hard to convince these two. "Fine. Let's get going before you miss your flight."

Grandma looked around the house. "Where's your PA? I thought she was here."

I nodded. "Yeah, Ashley's outside waiting for us. We have an important meeting to attend after we drop you off at the airport."

"Okay then, let's go." Grandpa said, walking out and grandma and I followed. There was a van waiting and we four got it. We watched TV and shared small talk throughout the ride to the airport. Well, Ashley talked the most. She couldn't keep her mouth shut for a minute.

When we got to the airport, my grandparents checked in and said Ashley and I could leave so we wouldn't be late for our meeting. I kissed them goodbye before we left. Throughout the ride to the new properties we were giving out to some clients, Ashley and I discussed about it. The buyers had paid for two houses and wanted a refund of their money cause they had to travel. I wasn't supposed to be attending such meetings out of the office, especially since my project manager has to be dealing with stuff like this, but it was close to the airport and I just wanted to settle the issue. We had a non-refundable policy in our company.
