My schedule had all the mandatory classes for first years, but there were also extra classes on it that first years don't usually take like divination and care of magical creatures (COMC). I looked at professor sprout and said "why are there extracurricular classes on my schedule first years don't usually take these classes" she smiled at me a motherly smile and told me "well dear you and a select few first years have been selected to be put in advanced classes so even tho you are a first year you will be taking extra curricular classes it's a new program that the headmaster wanted to start, the minister of magic said it would be a great idea to improve N.E.W.T and O.W.L scores".
