Minho sighed as he sat at the lunch table with seven other boys.

Almost everyone got along with Jisung quickly, but to Minho, there was something about that boy that made him a bit tense.

"Ayo Minho, you good? You seem distracted" Chan asked as he noticed the said boy being more quiet than usual

"Yeah i'm good..just thinking" Minho replied, looking at Jisung.

They all noticed how Minho acted towards him.

Everytime the said boy asked the older something, he would reply with simple answers, or just by nodding or shaking his head.
It was usual for Minho to distance himself from new people, but to everyone, Jisung seemed like a nice, harmless guy.

Minho thought that too, but he didn't want to accept the fact that he was warming up to the new guy so fastly. -it can't turn out good- Minho thought.

Lunch time was over with shared laughs and small talks between the eight boys, so they were left to survive the rest of the day.

After many boring classes, it was time to go home. Unfortunatelly for Minho, everyone in his friend group had different ways towards home, which led him to walk by himself. Listening to music wasn't an option, since he had forgot his earphones this morning. Oh how he hated waking up late.

He could've taken the bus home, but it was nice weather outside, sun slowly going down, a few starts could be seen as the cold breeze of wind hit his face.

He was walking on a sidewalk, eyes closed as he was feeling the wind, but his calming walk was interupted when someone stopped him.

"Aishh!! What are you doing" he said a bit annoyed as he was interrupted, and slowly turned around just to be met with no other but Han Jisung.

He looked at his big doe eyes, as the younger put his arm around his neck, feeling slightly embarassed by his actions.

"I'm sorry hyung i didn't mean to annoy you, but you were going straight into the road and i had to stop you" he said, looking anywhere but the olders eyes.

"It's okay Jisung-aah i shouldn't have snapped like that. Thank you for keeping me out of the road" the older boy said as the younger finally looked up, seeing his beautiful smile for the first time.

"What are you doing here anyway?" Minho asked wanting to break the awkward silence between them.

"Oh i actually live a bit more ahead" he answered as they both started walking into the same direction.

"Really? We might live near then, my house is in that direction as well" Minho said with the small smile on his face.

They were walking in the comfortable silence until the younger decided to speak.

"It's really nice hearing you actually talk to me. I get it that you probably distanced yourself from me since i'm totally new in your life, let alone you just met me today, but it's nice seeing you like this."

The older boy had his head down as he was listening to every word Jisung said. He could feel small smile beginning to form on his face, but he tried to hide it with a fake cough.

"Uuhm yeah, i was cold to you today while i didn't even give you a chance to meet me. I'm sorry for that, and besides it seems like the other boys like you quite a lot so who am i to ignore the little cute squirrel like you" he didn't even notice what he said until he saw Jisung widening his big eyes.

"I-um i'm sorry i didn't mean it to sound like that it's just that i noticed you stuff your cheeks with food while you eat, which makes you look like a squrrel, and squirrels are cute so...uhm yeah." the older boy was more than nervous at this point 

"It's okay hyung, no need to be nervous about it" Jisung said as they got to his house.

"Well, this is my house, i'll see you tomorrow at school?"

"Yup sounds good to me, see ya Ji" Minho was surprised how the nickname slipped so easily off his lips after barely knowing the boy, but he got home with a smile on his face.

And as you imagined, both of them went to bed that night with a smile on their faces, thinking of one another.
