Louis's POV

To go or not to go to English, that was the question running through my head. With only fifteen minutes left, I didn't have much time to decide. On the one hand, it was my favorite class of the day. On the other hand, Caron was in that class and we were currently partners for a project that was due on Friday. I had written a rough draft of my story already, but we were supposed to switch the stories today to edit them. It would be a considerable disadvantage to miss that and it wouldn't be fair to Caron.I couldn't skip English no matter how much I wanted to. I would suck it up and focus on the work.

Caron's POV

I basically sprinted to room 107 when the bell rang. I hadn't seen Louis since yesterday, and I wanted to make sure he was okay. I also knew we were working with our partners today and it would be the perfect opportunity to write him a note since seeing me was apparently too much of a shock for his system. This is weird, considering he dragged me to have lunch with him on the first day of school. I supposed it was probably my 'homophobic' ranting that caused him to react like that. Chances were he thought I was going to beat him up. Sometimes having a front that you put on to protect yourself isn't the greatest thing in the world. Sometimes you even forget you have the front.I like living in my dreams, where I can really just be me and not have to worry about anyone else. Maybe one day I can be myself in this world and get to know Louis. Perhaps somehow, I could write a note to make him understand. The bell rang as Louis walked in. I could feel my heartbeat pick up. I had no idea what it was about him that made me feel this way, but I wanted to find out. I started working on my note as soon as he sat down next to me.I hoped he understood.
