Poseidon's POV

I was enjoying the little time I had left with Sally. "Please, come with me. I don't care what Amphitrite thinks. You are a queen amongst mortals. I'll make you a goddess!"

Sally just shook her head, "No, I want the twins to have a normal life for as long as possible. They can't have that if they live in Atlantis."

I sighed knowing I couldn't change her mind, "Fine! Then at least let me enjoy the time I have left with you."

I silently walked to the nursery where the twins were sleeping. I saw Percy sleeping soundly. I felt proud that he was my son. When looked at Delphini's bed, I was surprised to say the least. Delphini was controlling the water from a cup. She was controlling the water to look like pegasi. I knew that Delphini was powerful. If Zeus found out about her powers, he might kill her.

I knew that Delphini couldn't survive for long. She was very powerful, yes, but her scent was strong. I sighed knowing that Sally would hate me for doing this. I gently grabbed Delphini and vapour-traveled away, leaving behind only a note and a faint smell of the sea.

Delphini was dueling against my son, Triton. They were evenly matched. Triton was stronger, but Delphini was faster, and more agile. After a few minutes, Delphini disarmed Triton and held her swords at his neck.

Triton grunted, "I yield"

Delphini just smiled.

I was so proud of my daughter. I trained her for years and her hard work finally paid off. She mastered every weapon there was. Delphini great at her water powers too, she could vapour-travel, a rare skill that only a handful of my children posessed, and turn into any animal just like Peryclymes.

I gave her the title, crown princess of Atlantis. I also made her my lieutenant. Delphini commanded the Storm legion, a group of fierce woman warriors. I gave her a pair of twin swords. They were the weapons of Thalassa, the primordial goddess of the sea. One was named Hurricane, and the other one was called Tempest. I gave to her in the form of a ring. The ring had a silver band and was encrusted with two green and blue gems. The gems would turn into her swords.

I told her stories of Percy Jackson, her twin brother. I let her see him a few times, but told her to be careful not to reveal her identity to him. Delphini agreed but every time she came back, she had a sad smile on her face.

And the smile broke my heart
