Ben jumps up and runs into the girls room. "What? what? what's going on?"
Janie is on the ground next to her bed she's coughing violently and her face is going blue.

She's choking.

He picks he up and gives her the Heimlich maneuver.

She coughs up a gumball.

"Wow
Really.
REALLY. A fu.....freaking gumball.
Oh. My. God. I almost had a hard attack because you can't chew properly? Why are you eating a gumball in the middle of the night anyway?!"
She catches her breath and starts to giggle at his comment.

He walked back to his room and explains what happened to Luke.
They laugh for a solid five minutes and fall back to sleep... for about 45 minutes.
Luke was awaken by Bens tossing and turning. Luke sat up and Ben was siting on the edge of the bed crouching over.
"Ben? You ok?" Luke asked worried.

"Yeah I'm just hot" Ben said while wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead.
Luke reached over and felt his head. Maybe he was just getting ill. When Lukes fingers made contact with his head it felt like he had just tapped the sun.

"You should get some rest"

They woke up the next morning and Ben was still ill. Ms. Baker took him to the doctors and let Luke look after the girls while they were gone.

*At the doctors office*

The doctor walked into Bens room and motioned for his mother to step out.
"We took some tests and most of them came back normal but..." the doctor sighed, a clear sign of bad news "when his blood test came back it showed that he might have a case of Leukemia. Which is a very common illness in adolescents his age"
"Leukemia? Leukemia!" Ms. Baker didn't know how to react. The only things that popped into her head were images of her son lying dead in a hospital bed.
"We don't know for sure but, we are doing a biopsy to be 100% certain" he put his hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her "I know that this is a tough situation but, you need to stay strong for him if these results come back positive. Things might get overwhelming at times but consider how he will feel. He needs you and the rest of his loved ones to be his rock"
An assistent walks up behind him and taps his shoulder.

"The results of Ben Bakers biopsy are ready"
