Ring ring ring

I groaned at the annoying ring tone and yawned. I tiredly reached for the phone and sighed. I have to admit, I got a huge smile on my face when I saw it was Jacob's name though.

"Hello?"

"Hi Y/n!"

"Why are you calling me at 3:15 in the morning?"

"I-uh...I miss you."

"Jacob, we broke up last month."

"I know but..."

He went quite after choking on his words.

I tilt my head at the screen...why does he have to be so cute?

"I don't know how to tell you this," Jacob started

"I miss you so much. I made the dumbest mistake in the world by breaking up with you all because I thought you were cheating on me-"

"Look Jacob I'm sorry but-"

"No, y/n I love you. Deep down inside I can not think of myself being with anyone else in the world but you."

I sat there in my bed, starring at the bright screen in front of my eyes. I couldn't bring myself to say anything. Before I knew it he had hung up.

I suddenly brought myself to my feet without another thought. I grabbed my keys that had been sitting on my drawer and retied my sweatpants.

I quickly got into my car after saying my goodbyes to my dog.

Before I knew it I had been screaming love songs with the windows down on the highway. Why was every love song now about him?

I hadn't had any second thoughts about liking Jacob before he called me earlier...so why now?

The music stopped as I pulled into a driveway that was to familiar.  A funny feeling crept into my stomach as I knocked onto the famous brown door.

Everything stopped...

"Jacob!"

The boy had red, puffy eyes as if he'd been crying. He had stood there in the doorway of his front door, staring me in the eyes.

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything before you hung up it's just I-"

Sparks flew as his soft, familiar lips touched mine.
