today had been a very long school day. I wish I could just give Kyler and his idiot friends a piece of my mind. But I knew Eli wouldn't want me to.

I had never really seen it get to Eli like this before though. Today was different. Kyler and his little possey were terrible. It was usually the typical name calling that Eli brushed past. But today was worse, they pushed him into a locker, came into the library and grabbed his jaw to look at his lip, and even worse-told him no one would want to kiss him.

I couldn't believe they would tell Eli such terrible things that aren't even true. They lied to him left and right. I wanted to slam Kyler's had through a locker every day, but today I had a burning passion to do it.

It was currently five minutes after school had been left out and I was trying to find Eli. I couldn't find him anywhere and Demetri hadn't been at school due to a doctors appointment and dentist appointment.

I looked at every car, trying to find his moms. I pushed my way through the huge crowds and no one was there.

To make the day even worse, Kyler and his stupid friends walked past. Not even that but they wolf whistled at me and called me hot. I rolled my eyes, they always did that, they did it most when Eli was around too, I guess hoping he'd get jealous.

I shook my head in anger. Where in the world could this boy be? I had searched everywhere that he could possibly be.

My phone began to ring in my back pocket and I quickly grabbed it from my jeans. I glance at the contact and realize it's Eli's mom. In a hurried manner i answer the phone.

"Y/n? Oh thank god it's you! Have you seen Eli? He hasn't come out to the front yet. Is he with your by chance?" Ms. Moskowitz bombarded me with questions as soon as a pick up.

"Um...I haven't been able to see him anywhere and I've looked almost everywhere for him. Did he say anything about leaving?"

"No, robotics club is currently not continuing..." his mom said in a sad tone.

"I'll find him, I'll look inside the school and see if he's there." I said and hang up.

Here comes the worst part, trying to find Eli in a huge school. I was thinking of where he could be when it then dawned on me as Kyler and his little ducklings followed.

"Eli!" I cried out opening the boys restroom. My facial expression had immediately dropped after seeing him in the state.

I rushed down over by his side, gently touching his back.
"Eli...are you okay?" I asked knowing I might not get an answer.

After not getting a response I gently shook him until he opened his eyes. He had been passed out. He looked horrifically terrible. He had open wounds, bruises, red marks scattered all over his body.

Eli went to open his mouth and I shut him up by engulfing him in a tight hug, rocking back and forth.
"Don't tell me Kyler and his stupid friends did this," I said pulling away.

Eli looked at the floor. "Um..."
I shook my head. "Let's get you home," I said standing up.

Before I started walking Eli grabbed my hand. "We can't tell my mom, she'll call the school and make it worse. Can we maybe go to your place?"

I nodded my head in a heartbeat and pulled him up gently, using my hand since he was still holding onto it.

I gently let Eli sit on the toilet and I sat on the edge of my sink. I gently pressed a warm cloth on Eli's open wound on his forehead, it had been the last one that needed to be done.

"Look y/n...you really didn't have to help me. I'm sorry you had to deal with the mess that Kyler made of me." Eli apologized with a shy frown.

I shook my head, "Eli, I love you-I'll always take care of you no matter what. I'm sorry those jerks are so cocky to not see that they might actually want to be like you." I said with a small smile.

I gently remove the wash cloth and cup Eli's cheeks in my hand. "I love the worst of you Eli," I said and gently kissed his forehead.

Eli's cheek's turned red and he couldn't help but grin like an idiot. "I-I love you too y/n"
