Flashback

"Don't die please"  ceris said concerned

"Eh no promises ceris" Lyra replied

"I- sigh try not to" ceris said giving in

"Ceris I'll be fine" Lyra said

Present time

Abigail was pacing around the halls waiting for the medics to come out and tell her what's happening with ceris

She saw the medic come out

"Is she alive? How bad is it?! Please tell me she'll be ok!" Abigail said panicking

"Sheesh calm down- one she'll be fine she just needs to take it easy two it's pretty bad she has a few bruised ribs, broken arm, twisted ankle, and that stab wound went pretty deep" the medic explained

"Is she awake?" Abigail asked

"Yes"

"Can I see her?"

"No"

"Why not?"

"She needs rest Abigail!" The medic said kinda annoyed and then went in to the room to check on ceris

There was suddenly some commotion outside

Abigail went out to check it out

"Lyra, w-who the heck is that? " Abigail  asked highly confused

"*takes a deep breath* I don't know who she is but I found her in the woods earlier on my little 'expedition' she doesn't really talk that much'' Lyra explained

"What's her name?" Abigail asked curious

"Her name is Lily, she was hurt pretty bad when I found her, she'd been caught in a snare the rope had cut into her ankle pretty deep, *sigh* she's lucky I found her she was very skinny like she hadn't had much if anything to eat for a while and the cut on her ankle was severely infected" Lyra explained

Abigail noticed that Lyra wasn't putting much pressure on her left leg

"You alright Ly?" Abigail asked concerned

"oh uh yeah I-It's fine" Lyra said wincing

"No it's clearly not fine you need to get that treated" Abigail said in a stern voice

"But Lily"

"Lily will be fine" Lily said in a quiet voice

"You sure?"

Lily nods in response
