The phone call came from Peter. He went on to further explain how he and his mother were back in town. I agreed to meet him and get a break from the war.

I met Peter at their new place. He looked happy. His mom had to run somewhere so it was just him and I.
"I've missed you" he said Softly. I hadn't forgiven him from taking Roman away but I did miss him he was neutral.
I sighed heavily. "Look, stuffs getting bad again, can I hide out here?" I asked and he nodded. I texted my mom with clear instructions not to tell anyone else. I filled Peter in on everything and he just sat back. "Seems I came back at a good time" I hugged him and he hugged back tighter as if trying to put back all the pieces. We broke from the hug and locked eyes. He kissed me.

We were catching up when his phone rang. "Moms staying away tonight" he smirked and we went back to kissing. Peter was more than okay with being a distraction. Afterwards we were cuddling and watching a movie. It had started to rain when there was a knock at the door. Peter answered.
