They saw Aqualad siting on a rock in the middle of the ocean. Just watching the wave pass him by. The amount of emotion on his face was non existent.

It seemed like he could care less what would happen to the city. Like there was nothing behind his eyes. Even his lack of humanity. How could someone look so crazy but unbothered at the same time?

*Is he really that obessed with me...!?* Raven questioned, *What is so great about me anyway!? The first time he saw me I was a being with nothing but being a hero that was likeable...*

The wave only sped up as it got closer to the city so action had to be taken. Everyone, still in the ocean, tried to reason with Aqualad instead.

They knew that if they killed or even knocked him unconscious, the wave's outcome upon the city would be unpredictable. They couldn't take that chance.

They also tried to distract him from his goal by saying stuff like Raven would never love him if he did this. It ended up being quite the challenge though because they were all talking at once.

He only ignored them while Raven wasn't even paying attention to him, but just contemplating the situation. Coming up with a plan wouldn't be easy in that scenario.

Aqualad then began staring at her while she was thinking. He was from a distance but that didn't seem to matter. His face only poured out love and admiration towards her as he stared.

But the creepy and controlling kind.

His eyes were hazy and he had a big grin on his face as he layed one if his hands on his face. His eyebrows also pointed upwards as if he were totally love-sick.

It was certainly a sight...

And as soon as Raven noticed this, she had a plan. Casting a spell, she talked to everyone using telepathy.

*Hey guys I have a plan but you need to trust me!* Raven thought.

*Ok but why not tell us through words...?* Cyborg asked, *This is kinda freaking me out...*

*Sorry but I can't risk him hearing us so everyone just act normal!* Raven replied.

*Ok!* everyone answered.

*So what's the plan? We gotta hurry!* Robin asked.

*It's risky but I think it'll work!* Raven stated, *So here's the plan...*

As Raven was telling everyone the plan, Aqualad grew bored of them not doing anything and started looking at the wave again.

The water seemed to be the only thing that calmed him besides Raven.

A couple minutes later, Raven flew out of the water towards Aqualad. Beginning to cry, Raven saw the others starting to make their way to the city. They were yelling insults at her and that they would stop the wave by themselves.

They all looked angry and seeing her friends abandon Raven made her sad. They said things like:

"You're such a freak! An idiot! A demon! You're just like your father! You'll never be normal! You're evil! You're nothing but bad luck! It's you're fault! I wish we were never friends!"

Raven tried her best to float towards Aqualad and he noticed. He glaze then shifted on her and only her.

"I'm... so s-sorry Aqualad! I was wrong... I-I should've stayed with you!" Raven said through her tears, "I realized that you're the only one who c-cares for me..."

Aqualad then gave Raven a sympathetic look and held his arms out for her to hug him. And as he did that, he said:

"Don't be sorry my dear! Never be sorry! You were just confused and you realized you're mistake! You're here now!"

Raven then tackled Aqualad to hug him. The hug didn't even make her feel safe and it was cold and wet. It was the most uncomfortable hug she had ever experienced.

Raven then began crying harder as they hugged. Aqualad felt bad and said:

"Don't worry, those people aren't your friends anymore. H*ll, they never were in the first place. You're safe now. Just let it all out..."
