On another day back at the tower, Raven was meditating in her room to regain her peace of mind. She didn't have to keep her father's darkness inside her at bay but it still helped calm her down.

Though the meditation didn't go very well. She couldn't get the recent events out of her head. And his face wouldn't leave her thoughts not matter what she did. Everything that had transpired kept replaying and replaying until she finally snapped. She had to go talk to Beast Boy.

It was too distracting to keep under wraps any longer.

As Raven flew to Beast Boy's room, she felt herself getting nervous. She had been in his room before but it was... different now. They had to talk about something serious, alone.

How would he act? Would it go smoothly or be awkward? Raven sighed as she kept wondering how it would go.

*Don't be awkward Raven, don't be awkward Raven! Don't mess this up! I swear-*

When Raven got to his door she contemplated on how it she would start.

*Should I knock or just use a portal...? Wait no, he could be taking a shower or changing so that's a no go! But what should I open with? I guess I'll figure it out. I'll just knock for now. Yeah good plan!*

Raven then knocked on the door three times and waited. Less than 10 seconds later she heard a:

"Who is it?" come from the other side of the door.

"It's Raven" she replied.

The voice seemed far away from the door and there was a pause. But then the voice said:

"Come in!"

Raven slowly opened the door to see Beast Boy playing video games on the floor. He was on the other side of the room and he seemed really focused but he gave Raven a quick smile before looking back at the screen.

"Hey Rae what's up?" Beast Boy asked, now only half focused on the game.

"Hey! Well, I actually wanted to talk to you about something if you have time" Raven said.

The video game was off within seconds of hearing that sentence and Beast Boy's focuse was suddenly only on Raven. He then motioned her to come sit on the floor with him.

He still had a smile on his face and Raven complied and sat beside him. It felt so natural to just "chill"  with him. And his layed back and care free attitude almost made her jealous.

*I wish I could just be like Beast Boy once in a while. He makes his life look so easy to deal with...*

"You didn't have to turn off your game Beast Boy. It's not that, that important" Raven said.

"Well my friends are more important than any game so I had to! Especially you Rae!" Beast Boy said.

"Alright, so what'd you want to talk about?" he asked.

A flutter of her heart followed by some hesitation and hard thinking, Raven started to speak.

Beast Boy's body fully rotated to face her. It made Raven feel special that her only asking to talk captured his full attention. Was she that important?

"Well, I actually wanted to talk about what happened last week... I just need to get some things off my chest cause I can't stop thinking about it" Raven stated.

Beast Boy's eyes looked of nothing but intentfulness. He was actually listening to her and seemed as if he wanted to know more. He then replied with:

"Well if you wanna talk to me, you know I'll always be here to listen!"

Raven couldn't help but smile at his statement and again, thought about what she was going to say.

*Should I tell him about it? He'll probably get mad though... Well I gotta tell him eventually so it's now or never*

"So um, do you remember what I was about to tell you in the cave?" Raven asked.

"It was a nightmare right? But this one was different apparently" Beast Boy said.

"Yeah well I want to tell you about that. Just promise you won't get mad" Raven said back.

"I'll try but it depends on what it's about..." Beast Boy replied.
