"Pick me, guys! I wanna be class rep!" 

             "I'll take it!"                       "Yeah, you're gonna need me!" 

"Someone with style would be best suited~"               "I'm, like, totally the right pick!" 

The students of class 1-A continued to overlap each others' voices, causing chaos and a disturbance to occur. Although it wasn't really understood as to why for Nagisa and Karma. 

"Eh? W-Why though? Isn't it about leading and having to be the best role model to the class and responsibility?" Nagisa queried. 

"In a normal classroom, a representatives duties would be just a lot of boring and added work. However, in the hero course, there's more to it. It's a simple but efficient way to get noticed by pro heroes and top scouting agencies. You can prove that you can lead a team like a real pro," Izuku explained. Nagisa and Karma nodded in understanding and turned their attention to Iida who was yelling out at the class. 

"Silence, everyone, please! The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do. You must have the trust of each and every student in the classroom before anything else. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democracy! We will hold an election to choose our leader!" 

"It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you." Karma teased. 

"Is this really the best idea?" One of the students asked. 

"We've only known each other a few days, how do we know who we can trust?" Tsuyu prodded. 

"Besides, everyone will just vote for themselves."        "Most will anyways." 

"That simply means that whoever does receive multiple votes must truly be the most suitable person for the job. It's the best way, right, sir?" Iida addressed, turning his attention to Aizawa who was in his sleeping bag. 

"Do what you want, but decide before my nap's over," Aizawa grumpily replied, snuggling further into his yellow cocoon-like bag. 

"Thank you for your trust!" Iida exclaimed stiffly.

"H-huh! How did I get 4 votes?" Izuku exclaimed. Nagisa and Karma smiled and Bakugo was angry as per usual. 

"Hah? Okay, you idiots, who voted for him?" Bakugo screeched. 

"What? Did you think anyone was honestly going to vote for you?" Kaminari chuckled, raising his eyebrow teasingly at the angry teenager. 

"Maybe I'll just keep my vote to myself..." Uraraka mumbled to herself. 

"Zero votes... I feared this would have happened, but I can't argue with the system that I've chosen!" Iida sighed. 

"So you voted for someone else? But you know it was best to vote for yourself, right? What were you tryin' to prove here Iida?" Karma inquired. Iida simply sighed as he sat with a gloomy aura around him. 

"Alright. Class rep is Midoriya, and our deputy is Yaoyorozu." Aizawa announced tiredly.
