Then the line cut off, leaving me speechless staring at my phone.

My grandfather? as in Mums dad. I was confused and scared.

Confused because I didn't know he knew about me.

Scared because he knew how to get my number, and the fact that I knew he was apart of the Volturi.

Someone, related to me was apart of the Volturi. Other then my mother of course.

"El?" Seth said bringing me back to reality, I walk around the corner and see all of them standing looking confused "who was that El?" Collin asked, I never got to know Collin as much as I knew the rest of the pack, nor Brady but that didn't stop me trying to be nice.

"Nora?" Leah said quietly making me snap out of my trance, oh right the question!

"It was my grandpa?" I said saying it more as a question than an answer "Your grandpa?" Jake asked me placing his lamb back on the plate.

"Yeah" I say quietly looking back at my phone "on whom side?" Sue asked walking out from behind the kitchen counter still holding a plate of food.

"My mums" I said, I never told them my mum was vampire, or that she was Victoria. Y'know the one that there hunting, or the one that basically killed my girlfriends father.

Yeah definitely didn't tell them.

"Oh that evil witch, the grandpas probably the same" Leah said making me gulp, well I knew I couldn't keep it from them forever. But I could keep it hidden for a little while longer.

"Yeah probably" Jake said looking at Seth and giving him the eyebrows, Seth knew because he was there that day I decla- Wait a minute so was Leah.

I look over at her and she gives me a knowing smile, oh she covered for me. I smiled back.

Seth looked at me and also smiled as everyone sat down and began to eat again.

"you know what, hey Sue got any left over animal blood?"

Then I couldn't hear her anymore, the phone, I think it was called went silent.

I slammed the weird object back into the 'phone booth' and noticed Aro standing near a plug holding the end of it, I walk out of the red object and walk towards him, seeing him holding the plug connected to the red box "Aro what are you doing?" I ask making him slowly turn around, looking nervous.

"I didn't know what it did so I detached it from this weirdly shaped hole in the wall" he said pointing to a white wall outlet, I believe its called, with three holes in it "Aro" I say disappointingly knowing he just disconnected my phone call from my granddaughter "did you cancel my call with your stupidity?" I ask trying to be calm even though I was raging on the inside.

"I'm very sorry Brother Marcus but I was curious" he says placing the plug back into its hole "you just ruined my chance of connecting with my granddaughter you fool" I say raising my voice before calming down not wanting to raise suspicion.

"As much as this amuses me I would like to return home and eat, I'm famished" Caius said brushing a strand of his hair out of his face "yes we may return" I say rolling my robe sleeves down as I had rolled them up to get them out of the way.

"As I said I'm very sorry brother" Aro continues his weak apology "yes, yes" I wave him off and get in our car that had a very frightened young boy sitting in the front.

I move so Aro can be seated next to me, and Caius gets in on the other side "drive boy" Aro says "take us home please" I say nicely unlike my brother whom was probably thirsting for his blood, me on the other hand didn't enjoy killing as much as my coven, alas I continued, refusing to be without a family.
