I sit in silence and stare at Stormy. There's no way it could be my kid even with the smallest chance it's probably not right? I finally speak
Me: DNA test?
Storm: what?
Me: do you think we should get a DNA test to see if I'm the dad
Storm: do you care? I mean either way Andy will be there dad but if it's a possibility it's your kid he will know and if he wants to be apart of your life by all means I'm not stoping him I'm not gonna fight you on it if you want we can but let's do it on the down low. Sides will want the biological dad on the birth certificate
Me: yea definitely I won't ever try to cut in but I just want to know and be a part of his life if it is. They boys are out getting food I'm gonna go talk to the doctor
~~~ walks down the hall ~~~
Doctor: hey sir Stormy needs rest so she won't be taking anymore visitors at the moment and you can go see the babies at the nursery but only for a few more minutes.
Me: thanks I was just leaving but I do have a question to ask.
Doc: sure lay it on me
Me: the little one you know we haven't named it or anything yet and see we would like to keep it on the down low but um were not sure who the father is and please don't look at Stormy like a whore it's a long story but when the soonest we could do a DNA test?
Doc: trust me I do not judge I see women walk in here with 3 baby dad's getting tested all the time. The little one is actually getting better I think he's gonna make it through. If we hurry I have DNA samples of his because were all ready running test I just need yours and I'll have the results by morning.
Me: that would be great let's do it
I was nervous the whole time with the blood work and swabs. what if this kid is mine. What will the others say. oh god the kid isn't even a day old and he's all ready gonna be a scandal baby.
