Chapter 9: Ophie

Luane POV

I sighed as Y/n buried her face on the pillow with a small smile

She loves sweets that much? Well, I guess it's a harmless request

"I'll be right back with your sweets"

I mumbled and softly smacked her bum, she then lifted her head and glared at me

Usually, if people glare at me, I'd be piss off and gouge their eyes out but she's an exception I guess

I made my way towards the kitchen since I don't want any poison on her sweets, I just barged in snd the chefs and maids jumped in surprise

"I need sweets for my fiancée," I said with a stern expression and a small girl approached me

I don't remember seeing this girl...

"Excuse me, miss Empress, what sweets do the lady like?"

The little girl asked and I froze knowing I didn't know what sweets she was into, I shifted my gaze at the girl and knelt

"If you were her, what would you like to eat? I'll give you a pouch of gold if you answer right away"

I mumbled and the girl lit up

"I would suggest sweets such as macarons, cookies, and donuts!"

She says energetically and I stood up nodding my head

"Make me those and if one of you poison it, I will cut your head off, do you all understand?"

I asked sternly

"Understood your Highness!" They replied in unison and I dragged the small girl with me

"Why am I coming with you?" The girl asked and I just kept dragging her

"To get your gold coins" I mumbled

When I opened the door of my office, I saw Y/n waiting patiently, she then looked at me and did nothing

"Bunny, I brought this little slave with me, you can play with her if you want"

I pushed that girl towards Y/n and she caught it and stared at the girl

"What about my sweets? I'm hungry" She mutters and I stifle a laugh

"My mommy is working on it, she is really good at making sweets"

The girl said and I was about to get mad for talking without my permission but Y/n smiled cutely and patted her head

"Really now? What's your name sweetie? How old are you?"

She asked grinning and it was my first time seeing her grin like this, I just silently went back to my desk and watched

"I'm Ophie and I'm six" Ophie girl giggled and Y/n smiled as she stared at the kid

"Do you love books such as fables?" Y/n asked and she placed Ophie on her lap

"I don't know how to read but Mommy reads me a bedtime story, it's about the beauty and the beast"

Ophie fiddled with her hands and Y/n chuckled, whe then patted softly, I then flinched when Y/n looked at me

"What?" I asked with a brow raised

"A book, find me a children's book" I stood up from my seat once again and went to find a book

Maybe she likes kids-

I'll give her one then ehehe...
