After our night we shared, Y/n jas been showing pregnancy signs about a week after
She has been craving a lot of food and I did my best to get them, she also becomes so clingy whenever I leave the palace
But lately, a small group in the capital kept killing innocent commoners, was it Klein Von Lenoir?
I clenched my fists since there were a lo12t of people killed, I furrowed my brows and raised my hand
"You called, Your Highness" Raphael appeared beside me and I gave her the reports
"I am aware of the murder cases, Your Highness, they even left evidence but it's not enough, must I do?"
Raphael asked and I took a deep breath
"Protect my fiancée in secret, she's now carrying my dear child and the heir of this Empire, if you fail to do so, I won't give you a painless death"
I muttered sternly and she bowed respectfully
"I understand Your Highness, It's an honor to serve the lady, your soon to be wedded wife"
Raphael bowed once again and disappeared in thin air
It's been months since we talked about her revenge but it seems her uncle, Klein Von Lenoir has been quiet for a long time
I wonder what he's plotting against me
I snapped out of my thoughts when to door opened revealing Y/n looking cold as always, but when she saw me she smiled beautifully
"What brings you here, darling?" I asked and stood up from my chair to kiss her lips
"I was drinking tea with Ophie but she had to do something so she left"
She smiled and I cupped her cheeks
"So you basically came here just because you're all bored by yourself? I'm hurt, my love"
I clutched my chest playfully making Y/n giggle, I then pressed my lips against her forehead and sighed in relief
"Darling, do you know these signs"
I showed her the pictures of the people that have been murdered that has an unusual sign on their wrists
She went silent for a moment and examined the pictures
"I've seen this somewhere... that's not a sign Luane, that's a crest from the nobles and I'm sure this is not the Lenoir crest"
She mumbled and furrowed her brows
"It seems that Klein has made an alliance to a neighboring country, or is there a spy in the empire"
I mumbled and Y/n slammed my desk causing me to flinch in surprise
"That damn jackass! Son of a bitch! I will kill him!"
She shouted and I just laughed at her, she does this often and I am scared of my fiancée
She swears a lot these days
All of a sudden the door burst out open causing us both to jump in surprise
"Your Highness! The knights that you've sent for patrol last night didn't come back!"
The captain of the knights report and I furrowed my brows
"What happened?"
"I don't know Your Highness but a letter was found, one of our knights was killed and the culprit left this letter"
He gave me the letter and my black aura surrounded the whole palace
'I see that your fiancée is pregnant, congratulations but be happy while you still can'
"A spy is staying in the palace" I muttered and I calmed down when Y/n hugged me
"Everything is gonna be alright, my love"
