I paced back and forth as I heard screaming from the other side of the room, Y/n went into labor
At a time like this? I hope she's really fine
"Raphael" I called and Raphael appeared in front of me
"Have you found who found out who's responsible for this?" I asked and Raphael knelt and clenched her fists
"I apologized Your Highness but the kid that gave Milady cookies was found dead behind the palace"
I bawled my fists in so much anger and I flinched when I heard another scream from inside
My concubines also looked at the door with so much worry
"Don't stop until you find who's responsible for this" I muttered and Raphael disappeared into thin air
...
Hours... I waited for hours and the door finally opened
I immediately walked inside and heard my child crying, I sighed in relief and got on my knees
I then traveled my gaze at my wife who's panting heavily-
She looked pale and weak... I went towards her and knelt to cup her face, she then smiled weakly and she softly chuckled and tears fell on her cheeks
"Y-Your right, it's a girl... our little Monroe" She giggled weakly and she wiped my tears
"Don't blame Monroe... okay?"
She smiled and my eyes widen when she violently coughed blood, I began to panic and the doctors just lowered their gaze
"What are you doing? SAVE MY WIFE!" I shouted and Y/n's grip on my hand loosened
"Y/n... everything is gonna be alright, bare with it a little, o-okay?"
I stammered with tears streaming down my cheeks, I went in front of the doctor and kneeled
"P-Please, save my wife... I beg you" I begged and one doctor stepped in but he didn't do anything
He just kneeled in front of me and cried
"We apologize, your Highness, the lady had consumed too many poison and your daughter is safe from the poison-"
I pushed him away and held Y/n's hand
"No, don't leave me" I cried out and she was slowly closing her eyes
"T-Take care of Monroe... for me" She smiled weakly and I froze when I couldn't feel her pulse anymore
"Y/n...? Honey, don't go" Tears streams down my cheeks when I didn't get any response at all
"This isn't happening, Honey... please open your eyes"
My knees fell on the ground when I didn't receive any response, I shouted in pain and draw my sword out then pointed the doctors
The one doctor laughed and I didn't hesitate to pierce him with my sword
"W-What did you do?" I asked stammering and he began to cough blood
"How do you feel now Luane? Amazing right?"
He asked and I pulled the sword out and slashed his head off with tears streaming down my cheeks
"Y-Your Highness, your daughter," The other doctor says and I stared at Monroe who's crying
"I don't care... kill them all"
I muttered at my concubines and Sylvia held my daughter while I walked out of my chambers with dried tears on my cheeks
