"...Nyenna! WAKE UP!" Ryanna. Again. Nyenna was on the verge of being rageful, and Ryanna had to wake her up at dawn. "What?" she responded in a bit of an irritated tone. It was one of the few times the silver-haired girl replied in an annoyed tone to her little sister. Usually, she tried to reason in a calm, low voice, but it was getting too irritating for her good. "Uh..." Ryanna seemed to have been taken aback. "I'm starving; I was hoping for some pie..." Usually, Nyenna would have felt quite sorry for the brunette, but today, she felt pretty delightful for some reason. But she decided to control the fire that hoped to come out of her fingers and the resentment that might pour out by a simple mistake.

"Okay, but it's four in the morning. Why don't you wait for an hour for me to fully wake up and get ready? I have an errand to run today, so I need a good sleep," Nyenna said in the sweetest tone she could ever make, because or else she was afraid of herself what she would do in her cranky state at the moment. Surprisingly, Ryanna didn't say a word and went back to her bedroom. That was quite a success. Nyenna happily went back into delirious sleep. However, the comfortable sleep didn't last long. A disturbing dream soon followed.

What is this? Why does everyone seem so small? Why am I emitting fire from my mouth? Am I... a dragon? Wait, WHY AM I FIRING AT OTHER PEOPLE? What... what is happening... what am I doing, what's wrong with me? Wait... someone is riding on my back. They're saying something.

"Go on, my dragon. Pull this kingdom into demise," they say. And I follow; why am I following their orders? I can't, I can't - and there's someone else I see clearly; a Fallen Angel? They cry out and say something, but I can't hear it. There's this gut feeling that I need to understand what they are trying to say. I stop emitting fire, but the person riding on my back keeps barking orders that I cannot hear what's going on and what the Fallen Angel wants to say. 'I'm so...' What? '...you-' I lost patience, then-

Nyenna woke up, panting. Only thirty minutes had passed, and her clothes were drenched with sweat. She somehow realized she was crying, and her body was trembling. What was that dream? It was so realistic yet disturbing and saddening. Before she prepared breakfast, Nyenna first headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower. While showering, she kept thinking about the dream. It was so ominous; was it a premonition? No, not a premonition, premonitions only came to people who were exceptional, who could perform magic beyond what their species could do, and Nyenna wasn't unique. She was just a bit more skilled fire magician among the people who lived in Nephrite Island. It must have been a disturbing dream; she reminded herself again and again; however, the cold voice of the rider who kept giving her cruel orders and the earnest cry of the Fallen Angel gave her a heartache for no reason.

"Ryanna, I'm not going to come back until four today, alright? Would you please do behave? Lunch is in the cupboard," Nyenna said to her little sister with a soothing voice. She needed some more time to fly and some more time to think. Just as expected, Ryanna was soon on the verge of tears, not that it made Nyenna feel of another choice. She was sick of everything, and now another disturbing dream? Just something great for her to think about.

"Why though...?" Ryanna asked. Nyenna let out a small sigh, then responded. "There's something to think about. And I need some more flying time, okay? It's time for you to fly too... just don't burn something, okay?" Without a word, Nyenna left the house. She shut every sense of her directing home, including Ryanna's cries of requiring help.

The shore was always ambient. There were flying dragons, but Nyenna didn't mind that. Those sounds were like a lullaby to her. It was her sanctuary. A haven. Somewhere she could totally be herself. And she quite hated the real her. Because the real Nyenna was quite a jealousy-filled, rageful, and depressed fifteen-year-old. Thus, the shore was a place that made Nyenna both happy and sad. She didn't know how to think about this emotion, but at least, Ryanna won't come here. That was enough for the silver-haired girl for now.

"What was that?!" Nyenna suddenly heard an echoing voice in her ears. Come to the shrine... what shrine? The prophecy... Dragon... Suddenly, something clicked. It was a story she had heard when she was a little kid; Angels called ones with special abilities to go on a mission to change Apricus as a whole. The Angels lived in a big, diamond temple, only awaken when a special power was detected. Then they would send premonitions and signs to the chosen ones, and when they visit the Angels' shrine, they will give them quests and missions. The last mission happened about a thousand years ago; no known premonition was given to anyone in Apricus for the previous millennium. Therefore, there was little to no possibility for Nyenna to be a special person.

However, she still had a significant doubt. The sound she just heard... the voice was very musical and somehow holy, which was something she couldn't hear from a simple prank or echo or hallucination.
