A frown inched its way on Daniella's face as she watched Jacob rush away into the forest, away from her. She heard it. The faint shout. The shout of fright, coming from the girl that ran with the vampires.
She knew it was selfish if she pleaded for Jacob to stay and let the current take Bella away. He could be hers, however, her heart was too full of purity for that. Her knees bent as she plopped down onto the forest floor.
She knew. Even with how much time they spent together over the past few days, his feelings for the Swan were stronger than their friendship, if she could call it that. An emotionless sigh left her lips, echoing through the small clearing they found just two days ago.
Even if it wasn't the clearing that she found months ago, it was still special to her. They did find it together when he focused his attention on her. She looked off into the direction where Jacob ran to. He liked Bella, not her. She knew even if it hurt, emotionally and physically.
She swallowed her saliva, standing up, leaving the forest clearing, trying to clear the fog of thoughts swarming her head. Maybe it is the consequence of leaving the water. She left the place, crestfallen, slightly broken, emotion in her dulling eyes.
