LILIYA'S POV:

'Oooh,' Yelena groans, while she's putting some alcohol on her arm. We're sitting on the terrace of a restaurant. It's late, and dark outside. I'm busy with putting bandage on my wrist. 'Two beer for us and a cola for you Lili,' Natasha says. 'Wait... Why do I have cola? I'm twenty-one, you know? It's legal to drink for me,' I say confused. 'Oh.' I walk back inside the restaurant, to order a beer for me. 'Aaaand that's two drinks for Liliya,' I say, while I sit back across Nat and Yelena. They both look at me. 'What?' I say. 'We were talking about Dreykov, and about that he tortured you more than the other Widows, because you didn't wanted to kill an innocent person. Is that true?' Natasha says. I feel tears coming up. Not now Lili! 'Is that true?' Nat asks again. I nod.

Natasha stands up, and goes sit next to me. 'Hey, you okay младшая сестра?' 'Yeah, I'm fine. It's just... I don't really like to talk about the Red Room.' I look at Yelena. Change the subject, change the subject, change the subject. 'Did you two ever wish for kids?' Yelena asks, 'I want a dog.' She grabs her vest. It's one of her favorite thing she owns. She really likes the pockets. Natasha smiles. 'Maybe, or maybe not. What about you Liliya?' I look up. 'You know, I never thought about being in a relationship. I don't even know if I want to be in one, or if I like boys or girls. Life's a big puzzle. Not every part is found at the beginning, or some just don't fit,' I say, while taking a sip of my beer.

'I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back.' I stand up, and walk inside to the bathroom. When I'm washing my hands, my vision starts to get blurry. No, no, no, no! Not again please... Kill them! Do it for the Red Room. 'Shut the fuck up!' I slide down against the wall, tears streaming down my face again. Do you want your sisters to get hurt? No? Ha! It's going to happen anyway! Or you're gonna do it, or Task Master will do it. Or should I say 'Skull Mask'?  'Go away!' You can't run away forever Liliya. Task Master is gonna find you, and your stupid sisters. If you join the Red Room again, you won't get hurt. 'NEVER!' I scream. Dreykov leaves my head, and I'm trying to concentrate on my breathing again. It doesn't work. 'LILIYA!' Natasha and Yelena run into the bathroom. 'I... I can- I can't breath.'

A FEW MINUTES EARLIER...

YELENA'S POV:

Liliya leaves for the bathroom. 'Where you gonna go?' Nat asks me. 'I don't know. We don't really have anywhere to go back to, so I guess anywhere.' Silence. 'Don't.' 'Don't what?' Natasha answers. 'You're going to give me some big hero speech, I can feel it.' A little smile appears on Natasha's face. 'Speeches aren't really my thing.' 'Huh.' 'It was more like an invitation.' 'To go to the Red Room and kill Dreykov?' 'Yeah.' 'Even though the Red Room is impossible to find and Dreykov is too slippery to kill?' 'Yeah.' 'That sound like a shitload of work.' 'Yup,' Natasha sighs. 'Could be fun though.' 'Yup,' I say. 'I saw where he put the keys,' Natasha says with a smile on her face. 'Top drawer, green cabinet,' I say, knowing what she's talking about. We both take a sip of our drink.

'What takes Liliya so long?' Natasha asks after a few minutes. 'Let her take her time. Since we escaped the Red Room...' I sigh. 'Liliya keeps getting nightmares of the Red Room. Every night the same routine. We go to sleep, around 3 a.m she wakes up screaming, shaking, crying. It's heartbreaking to see that.' 'Dreykov really broke her on the inside.' 'Yeah,' I sigh. Another silence. 'You sure she's okay? It's been quite a long time ago since she left.' I look up. 'You're right, maybe we should check on her.' We both stand up, and walk to the bathroom. We're facing the door, and I listen. I can hear Liliya crying really loud, and screaming. 'LILIYA!' I run into the bathroom to see her crying in a ball shape. 'I... I can- I can't breath,' she says with a shaky voice.

Natasha and I both kneel down next to her. 'Hey hey, look at me... Breath, okay? Just like we practiced. Breath in... breath out...' I look at Nat, who holds Liliya tight. 'In... out...' After a few minutes, Liliya's breathing is normal again. 'I'm sorry,' she whispers. 'What are you sorry for младшая сестра?' I ask her. No response. 'Do you wanna tell what happened?' She nods. 'Well, since Natasha's here, I keep hearing voices in my head. Dreykov's voice. I think he tries to brainwash me again to kill you or something...' She starts to tear up again.

'Like Yelena told you Nat, Dreykov tortured me more, but also had stronger brainwashing methods for me. I think it's not fully gone, but the gas made it really weak. But not weak enough. And he's sending Task Master to kill us again. I'm scared старшие сестры...' 'Oh Lili! Why didn't you told us sooner!' I hug her tight. 'Because you were already busy with the fact that Nat's here.' Nat hugs both of us. 'It's going to be okay. We're going to destroy the Red Room, and kill Dreykov. I promise.' A little smile appears on Lili's face. 'Thank you...'

NATASHA'S POV:

'I got my drivers license last week, just like we always talked about...' Liliya sings in the car. 'You did?' I ask her. 'No.' I hear Yelena laughing next to me. I'm driving the car. 'Driving home for Christmas yeahhh,' Liliya continues her singing. 'Lili, it's not December yet-' 'I know, but I can sing songs about car rides, can't I?' I sigh. 'I swear to god, this kid...' 'Excuse me- I'm not a kid anymore.' She sings like nothing happened a half hour ago. 'Country roads, take me home-' 'Can you please stop singing,' I ask her. 'Okay okay, I'm sorry. I didn't know that I was that bad.' 'Yelena Belova, don't you dare to laugh right now!' 'Too late,' Yelena says laughing. Somebody help me please.

'You know, this is the first piece of clothing I've ever bought to myself?' Yelena says. 'O god-' Liliya says behind me. 'What?' I ask Lili. 'She's obsessed with her vest. But like, obsessed obsessed. And mostly the pockets,' she whispers to me. 'Is that like a... Is it army surplus or...' 'Okay, it has a lot of pockets.' I chuckle. 'But I use them all the time, and I made some of my own modifications.' 'Oh yeah?' 'Whatever.' I laugh. 'Shut up. The point is, I've never had control over my own life before, and now I do. I want to do things.' 'Hmm... I like your vest.' 'Ah, I knew it. I knew you did. It's so cool, right?' Okay, Liliya didn't lied about that Yelena is obsessed with her vest. 'It's good. Yes. I like it.' 'And you could put so much stuff in there. You wouldn't even know.' I laugh. 'Oh, and Liliya, who's Task Master?' She looks up. 'Skull Masks real name.'

'Liliya finally fell asleep.' I quickly look behind me. She lays there peacefully. 'Don't wake her up, she deserves her rest. She nearly slept the last days.' I look at Yelena. 'Poor kid... She doesn't deserve this.' 'I told you that I am not a kid anymore Nat.' 'Jeez Lili!' 'Ha!' Liliya says from the couch, behind us. 'I thought you were asleep!' 'Well, I wasn't. You know that you two are kinds loud,' she says. 'Sorry Lili,' Yelena says. After almost thirty minutes, Yelena and I finally talked again. 'I really don't know where the Red Room is, though.' Yelena whispers since Liliya really fell asleep. 'I'm sorry.' 'I know,' I say. 'But I think I know somebody who does.' 'Oh yeah? Who?' 'We're gonna need a jet.'

I feel like I'm ruining the iconic moments in this story with Liliya-
