"Hello there, Chris."
Chris was lying on the ground. He was afraid to open his eyes. Was he in hell? The last few hours were the worst in Chris' life, for now at least. Chris was trying to sort the thoughts in his brain. He must've died in the car crash. Chris decided to open his eyes. He could see a ceiling, that looked like a ceiling of a cave of some sort. How did he end up in a cave? Chris tried to stand up, expecting to feel pain in his legs. But there was no pain in any part of his body. He couldn't feel anything. Chris finally got up, and started looking around the cave. Now Chris wasn't actually sure whether it was a cave or not. It seemed like one, but there was something unnerving about it. "I've been waiting for quite some time now to meet you." the voice said again. "Where are you? Who even are you? How did I end up here?" Chris yelled, his mind was full of questions. "None of that matters." the voice said. "Talk to me face to face, like a man!" Chris was surprised of his own confidence, too. Chris heard footsteps behind him. He turned around. There was a man standing in the shadows. Or in fact, the word "man" didn't really picture the creature very well. He was human-like, but his skin had a purple tint to it. He had a pitch black hair, and his eyes were glowing in yellow. "As I said, I've been waiting to meet you, Chris." he said. As soon Chris saw the man, his heart started pounding probably harder than ever. "Would you tell me, who you are?" Chris tried to gain confidence. "I think you already know who I am." the man said. "You are Evilor, aren't you?" Chris didn't know how he realized that so suddenly. Chris' brain started to go wild. How could Evilor be in the same room than him, if he was last seen in a land far away? It didn't make sense. "Where are we?" Chris asked. "I thought you had figured that out already. We are in your brain, Chris. This is a vision. Maybe even a dream. I don't even know that myself." Evilor said calmly. "Why are you here? What do you want from me? Your soldier showed up to my house, and he told that I should be taken to you. But why?" Chris asked. He wanted answers. "I have an offer for you, young man." Evilor said. "Let me tell you a little bit of... ah, history, first. You already know what happened on that night. The night when I went to the castle and took the crown. After I had gotten what I wanted, I started looking for... hmm, companionship. Someone would even go as far as calling it an army. In reality, it's much more than that. A way to claim a life in this world." Evilor explained. "Just tell me what you want from me." Chris said. "Join the group, Chris. Join me. I think you would understand it better if I say it's an army. I can give you a good place to live in. I can give you anything you have ever wished for. A good life? You can have that. Lots of money? Sure. Think about it, Chris. I can give you everything." Evilor said. "And what would be the price? You're going to take me away from my family? To serve you? Forever? And I don't even think that a single word you just said was true. I've heard enough about you." Chris told him. Actually, in Chris' brain, he was considering Evilor's offer. Evilor was right in something. Chris' life wasn't anything good. His family was poor, and his parents were always in a hurry, they could never give Chris enough support. Only little bit of support he had was from Alex, but that wasn't a lot. But quickly, Evilor said something that made Chris change his mind. "You don't have a family, Chris." Evilor said. "Wh- what? Of course I do." Chris was confused. "Not anymore." Evilor said and smiled. He looked like a psychopath. Chris looked at the ground. That wasn't possible. His family was waiting for him, in home. Of course they would still be there. There is no way that Evilor could've done anything to them... or was there? Chris started to feel more and more scared. But with the feeling of being scared, came the feeling of anger. Chris didn't know how, but somehow he knew that Evilor was not lying about this. "Let your feelings out, Chris." Evilor said and smiled again. "You... you... you will pay for this. I will make you pay." Chris said trying to hold his anger and tears back. "You will regret that decision. See you on the other side, Chris." Evilor said and disappeared. The world around Chris turned white, until he couldn't see a thing.
"Chris! Chris! Wake up! Please wake up!" someone was yelling that to Chris' ears. Chris opened his eyes. He was laying on a sofa. "Chris! Are you okay? What happened?" It was Alex that was sitting next to Chris. "You don't even know how worried we were! Me and my mom, we were on our basic evening walk when we heard a big crash sound. We went looking, and I couldn't believe my eyes! There were two cars that had just crashed, and YOU were lying on the ground! Blood all over your face and body! And a pistol in your hand! What the hell were you doing?" Alex was freaking out. "Alex. Let me explain. But it's going to be a long and a wild story." Chris said. He was still shaking. "CHRIS! What the hell happened to you!" Chris heard another voice. It was Alex's mom who had just arrived to the living room. Chris didn't know Alex's family too well. He had never really been in any contact with them, as Chris and Alex were usually hanging out outside or in Chris' house. "I... I would like to explain everything to Alex first, if that's okay." Chris said. "Yeah... that's fine... I'll go and give a call to your mom." Alex's mom said and left the room. Chris was feeling empty inside. He knew that Alex's mom would never receive an answer for that call...
Chris explained everything that had happened to Alex. From the point when the soldier had appeared at his door, to the visions he had with Evilor. Alex was just staring at him for the whole time. Sometimes it looked like that he wanted to say something, but decided to keep his mouth shut. After Chris had finished, Alex started talking. "If everything Evilor said was true... what are you going to do?" Alex asked. "I... I really haven't had time to think about that yet... I feel like my duty is to try and find Evilor." Chris said. "Dude, two 16-year old boys against the supreme leader of the world? Do you know how stupid that sounds like?" Alex said. "Well do you have a better idea? If I try to go home, I will be caught by Evilor's soldiers! And if they will catch me, god knows what they are going to do to me! And what do you mean with TWO boys against Evilor, I didn't say that you will have to come with me!" Chris started to get a little angry. So much had happened in the last few hours... "Chris, I know that this is hard for you. You've had to go through a lot recently. I understand that you are mad. But we have to think about this before we do anything stupid." Alex said calmly. Chris looked at the floor. "I guess you're right." he said. "There is one little problem, though." Alex said. "Only one problem? There is like ten billion problems about this whole situation!" Chris said. "No, I meant that, if we'd SOMEHOW find Evilor, wherever he currently is, we can't take him down, he is literally immortal. I've heard a lot of stories about an army or something going to him and getting beaten up by him alone. He has powers that we can't even imagine." Alex explained. "There has to be a way. No one is completely immortal." Chris said. "Well, if you so think... I have a plan." Alex said.
