"L-lo- Lorenzo.."

Charlotte wakes up with a confused look on her face,

"Who was that last night.? Why did he apologise to me? Everything's so confusing."

Ah right, tomorrow's the swordsman competition!

I'm gonna meet Mabel on the training grounds.

Charlotte brings her items to the training grounds.

"Hey Mabel!"

"Hey Char!"

Charlotte hears a whimper behind Mabel.

"Who's that behind you?

"Ah! Come on out Damon!"

"Hi.."

A cute guy who's a few inches shorter than Mabel comes from behind her.

"Hello there, I'm Charlotte. It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too.."

"Let's get practicing, I need to improve my skills for the comp tomorrow."

"Aight Mate!"

They train for hours and hours, learning new techniques while Damon just watches from aside.

They had some snacks afterwards.

The day just went like this.

Charlotte goes downstairs with her sword hidden and to the kitchen.

"Hi, could I have an energy bar and some bread?"

"Yeah sure."

The maid working there handed Charlotte the food.

"Thanks!"

Charlotte sprints out the kitchen and out the door, she sees Mabel and her brother waiting at the capital.

"Hey matey! Did you bring your family to watch?"

"Ah.. no. My family doesn't approve of me wielding swords."

"That's sad mate! I'll ask Damon to cheer you on!"

"That's so sweet of you!"

Charlotte and Mabel enter the contestants area while Damon goes to the seating area for the audience.

Woah, so many people. Mabel wasn't kidding when she said there were people coming from the other lands.

While Charlotte was walking, a guy hits her on her shoulder.

"What was that for?"

He scoffs, "So what? Why are you here, smh. Girls like you shouldn't be here. You're gonna get beat up to a plump."

He laughs as he walks away.

I'll show that asshole.

"If I were you I'd get em'."
