Chapter 3

Two years later

I woke up today with the dream about the last RPA sleepover I had with my friends .

The dream felt so real.

I stared at the painting of my family and friends with both my siblings standing either of my side and sighed.

I miss them .

I wish me and Des could go back sooner. He doesn't say it but I know he wants to go back too. If not for anyone but for Amber he wants to go back soon.

In the end me and Des ended up living in our academy's dorms.

Since my father graduated  from school, I think he isn't aware that with time, the rules of this academy has changed too. The rule that we couldn't contact any of our family members for two years was thanks to the fact that whether you are a prince, princess or any noble . You have to stay in academy's dorms .

To stop getting yourself distracted you have to cut your connection with your family.

It's been 7 years since I became a princess and 2 years since I graduated from royal prep. I am 15 years old now. In this two years I have gone through many changes both physically and mentally, so has Desmond.

He was one of my closest friend and my only supporter when I joined the academy. People here were not as nice as they were in Royal Prep. I have gone through many changes to protect myself, I can say same for Desmond.

Today is the day we will start our classes for third and final year and we will be able to finally contact our family. It's been two years.

When we reach the final year of our education. We princesses became 15 and princes became 16 and finally considered adults and are allowed to contact our family. I have already written separate letters for my siblings and parents and Ruby, Jade and my best friends from Royal Prep Hugo and Vivian.

I am so excited for today.

" Princess Sofia , are you ready? Princess Claire is here to walk with you for the first day of your final year ceremony."

I heard my maid Nancy asking me outside my dorm or should I say it is more like a chamber just like the one I had in palace.

" I will be there in five minutes Nancy" I called out and checked myself last time in the mirror before walking out.

The facilities and education provided in this academy is one of the best . Many noble students have to go through the entrance exam to enter this academy , but royals can enter without entrance exam. There are also few seats for commoners but the level of their entrance exam is much harder which I think is a bit unfair.

This academy is not a normal academy , it follows a hierarchy system which is not based on Royal, Noble and commoners . Everyone are treated equally. All ranked on the basis of their academic, co- curricular activities and the main subject they are studying.

As for me I study to become a royal advisor, and I am also part of flying derby team , magical ice skating and science club.

And Des is studying to become a knight and he is also a part of flying derby, science club and astronomy club.

Although he is not a fan of astronomy, he only joined the club to impress my sister .

It's cute at least I think how he put efforts like this for my sister. He will make a good brother in law.

And I was also forced to join the science club thanks to him because he wanted to share classes with me , so I forced him to join flying derby. I never knew that flying derby will come so naturally to him , in less than a year he was able to improve so much that it landed him  with becoming our captain in a year and it took me two years to become co-captain.

Under his guidance I was also able to improve myself in science and many times we partnered up together for projects and gave wonderful presentation .

I was able to make many friends but my closest one are Desmond, Princess Claire who is also Desmond's cousin and Prince Aden who with time had became a brother figure to me or should I say he is more like James whether it is his appearance or personality. It's like he had gotten himself a doppelganger which is the reason I have gotten more and more attached by him as I started missing my brother.

This is pretty much my life in Asbakan Academy.

" Sofiaaaa" Claire called out.

" I am coming Claire. Have some patience." I said

" If this Princess was born with patience.  Wouldn't world turn upside down " I heard a teasing voice when I came out of my chambers and saw Desmond and Aden standing a little far away from Claire where Aden was teasing Claire .

" You.." Claire was about to say something when she was cut off by Des when he tried to calm her down

Those two are always fighting. Both of them like each other while Claire hadn't realised it yet ,but Aden had realised it already but doesn't know how to express those emotions, and hence the teasing

These two and Des are my closest friends in Asbakan Academy.

" Let's go, today we will be able to send letters to our family for the first time. I don't want the day to start with a petty fight with a brainless retard "  Claire said as I approached them and pulled me by my hand while Des and Aden chuckled .

" Morning Sof, Are you excited for today." Des asked while smiling softly at me and I returned the smile.

" Morning! And as for your question. Can't you tell by my face." I replied.

" Anyone can tell Sofia . You are practically glowing. "

Aden deadpanned and everyone laughed.

So I am Princess Sofia of Enchansiya and this is my life in Asbakan Academy from past two years
