Episode 35 - Arshi marry with rituals

It was night. Khushi and Arnav standing in the open space. Everyone is present. They had a very big bonfire. Khushi had her body covered with more leaves. Apparently, she had asked Mallika to put more leaves on her as she knew that she could avoid a few stares. She had her hips covered.

There was a big holy deity God placed in front of them. There was moonlight and yellow lights all over. Khusih's body was glistening because of her milky white skin colour. Arnav looked at her beseechingly. She sees a large group of kids, some naked and some wearing little clothes in the group. She had not seen kids of the village until now. She had wondered about it though. Where were they until now? Perhaps they were not allowed in the decisions of the Tribal head. Her heart pities seeing their conditions. Soon the tribal head asked both of them to come forward. They take a plate-like tree trunk piece. It had ash and fire lit from leaves. The tribal head asked them to do pooja in front of Kaalimaa. Arnav joined Khushi's hands and they both did pooja. Khushi looks at him. They both have an eyelock while they did the pooja. The tribals start ululating. Some tribesmen with long hair start to dance, rotating their heads out of madness. Khushi and Arnav ignored this, getting scared while continuing the pooja. Arnav has an arm around her as he senses her shivering with the plate. It gave her strength.

Arnav(with his eyes): Khushi I know you have faced so much. But trust me! I won't leave you! I love you. I am just waiting for you to forgive me. That's it.

Khushi looks at him with tears in her eyes. The tribal head then asks them to go round the bonfire.

They both go round and they do 7 rounds. They knew it felt like taking pheras. What was left, even that was getting completed. For every round around the bonfire, Arnav starts saying his words.

1st phera.

Arnav: I will take care of your welfare and our future kids' welfare and satisfy all the basic needs.

Khushi blushed. The tribals also had this ritual but they don't count it. They just ask the married people to go round for some time and it's up to them when to stop. But Arnav made sure that it was a phera.

2nd phera.

Arnav: We will support each other with all mental, physical and emotional turbulence in life with courage.

3rd phera.

Khushi got lost in his glistening chocolate brown eyes which was like a fire.

Arnav: I promise to remain loyal to you and together we will make wealth and prosperity.

4th phera.

Arnav: I thank you for making my life fulfilling and complete. All I need is just you loving me and being with me until the end.

5th phera.

When this time comes, Arnav stops and Khushi wonders what. He waits for her. The tribals at a point thought they completed but soon it struck Khushi that she should go forward.

Arnav: We will be responsible parents and not only are we husband and wife, but also very good friends. There might be times that you have to lead life without me and I am sure that you will do that without me.

Khushi had tears in her eyes.

6th phera.

Arnav: We will lead a healthy and happy life with our future children.

7th phera:

Arnav: We will forever be companions and strive for maturity and wisdom thereby leading a peaceful life. We are inseparable for lifetime once we are done with this phera, we will be together in every birth.
