"In Erola"

It was night time. Khushi didn't return till now. She was with her mom and grandmom in their place. Arnav was remembering Khushi. But he thought not to go and disturb her as she saw her mom for the first time and she needs some time to spend with her as well as her grandmother. He laid down thinking of her and closed his eyes as he was tired as well for all the works he did. Soon there was a knock. Arnav wondered who it could be. He opens the door carefully, having a second thought. Soon he sees his angel dressed in black saree. She was breathtaking.

Arnav(like a whisper): Khushi!

Khushi blushed.

Arnav: Why did you come back? And how are you wearing this dress?

Khushi: Mom gave me. It was gifted by my father to her but she couldn't wear it now. So she gave me to wear this. And regarding my return, I have to come here only!! It's my husband's place. So it's my place as well.

Arnav: But..

Khushi stopped him, placing a finger on his lips.

Khushi (with tears forming): shh..you were the one who saved my mother Arnavji.. Otherwise I wouldn't have seen her. I would have died thinking I was here and still I couldn't rescue her if you hadn't come and met her in the caves. She fainted because she was about to die due to hunger. She couldn't climb the trees nowadays and also there were no berries growing this year in those caves. That is why she was weak. But you saved her!! You did so much to me and I couldn't realize it. Instead, I kept blaming you about that one incident which broke us. I am sorry Arnavji. I love you.

She pecked him on his lips. Arnav was in a trance, smiling. He still thought it was a dream as he remembers that he went to sleep closing his eyes. She kissed on his bruised left palm which he had cut to put the sindoor on her forehead.

Arnav: Khushi...is this a dream?

Khushi pinched him to make his senses come back.

Arnav: Khushi, I love you too.

He soon kissed her on her lips to return her's. He closed the door with one hand and entwined his other hand on her hip. The kiss was as passionate as ever as they both are now in love and he has got a strong assurance now that she too loves him back even more.
