Expect the unexpected

Chapter 8

JESS' P.O.V

The guys blind folded us for some unknown reason..I think it's kinda strange to be honest like we know we are going to the studio but hey who cares.

When we arrived Niall guides me while Harry guides Tess..I swear he likes her.. And Liam guides Morgan.

I walk into one pole and two doors and remember to never trust Niall to lead me anywhere if I'm blind folded. My head kinda hurts now..

"Note to self, don't let Niall guide me if I'm blind folded!" I say rubbing my head

"Not my fault" he says innocently

"You guys ready?" Louis asks excitedly

We all nod in agreement

"1,2,3"

"FLICK!" We all burst out in fits of laughter at Liam's random outburst. But then our blind folds are dropped.

Before us stands the most amazing, complex set of rooms I have ever seen before. With every single instrument you could possibly think of in one. Another with hi tech recording and altering devices. And another will more stuff that I'm not even sure what it is. There are several recording booths and, well it's just amazing! I would love to spend hours on end just watching the boys preform and attempting to play the instruments myself.

"Wow" Tess barely whispers

"It's amazing right?" Niall asks probably already knowing the answer

"Wow" tess says again

Oh golly gosh I worry about her..

"This is amazing! I want to see all of this equipment in action man!" Morgan sounds very energetic today.

With that us three sit down on a very comfortable leather couch and watch the group of idiots messing around with the instruments. Harry is attempting to play piano while Louis Niall and Zayn have a jamming session with the guitars and Liam is singing.

It's just beautiful, I mean it sounds like a hole lot of random notice that doesn't mix together but somehow they pull it off.

"Okay stop being idiots and show us how this all works" I say pointing to the hi tech sound uttering thingy.

"Okay well, when you have finished recording in there" Zayn points to the recording booths

"Then you come here and can alter your voice, making it sound different in anyway". He goes on to a detailed explanation of it all which really I zone out, I mean I have no idea what the hell he is going on about. I love music but the sad truth is, I have no idea nor patience in producing it.

"Okay then smarty pants, give us a demo" Tess suggests and the 5 lads nod their heads in agreement.

As they walk off into the booths I can't help but wonder what song they are going to sing

"This is going to be amazing! " a very excited Morgan exclaims

"Hehe yea, I wonder what their song choice is going to be?"

After singing moments so beautifully, I actually think I had tears in my eyes. They all jumped out of the booth and ran over to us tackling us in a giant group hug.

"So what did you think?" Harry asked

"I was amazing!" I sniffed as I whipped away a tear that managed to leak out of my eye

"Awe don't cry" Louis carefully guides his thumb under my eye whipping away any of the other tears that fell

"It was just so beautiful, that song always gets to me" I whisper to them while a smile breaks on my face as I realise how much they care coz I'm crying.

"Well stop crying and put that beautiful smile back on your face! I miss it" Niall says ever so sweetly while pouting. I blush slightly and the biggest smile comes to my face and I can't help but laugh at him.

"There it is" he says enthusiastically.

"Hehe, are you going to show us how to use this thing or not?" I question him and he just smirks at me

After spending an hour of recording some instruments and editing the vocals ever so slightly, personally I didn't think any of it needed editing coz they are just so talented but you couldn't really tell because it was the slightest changes, we started to put it all together. This took a little bit longer and in the end we all listened to it in awe.

I may or may not have started crying again.

"Alright now it's your turn to record something" Zayn winked at us

"Fuck off" Morgan practically shouts at him

"I agree with Morgan, you are not getting us in there!" Tess says pointing at the recording booth.

"Yip, nope we are not singing and that's that!" I agree with the other two

"Please for us?" Liam's puppy dog eyes are seriously the hardest thing to say no to!

And after about an hour of convincing we are finally in the booth getting tortured to sing. But I'm happy we are able to sing skinny love as I love this song! Specially ed sheerans cover of it. When we have finally finished recording we move out and start editing. Our voices have a lot more changes done to them but in the end it doesn't actually sound half bad.

"See girls you can sing!" Harry reassures us

"Only coz we had to edit our voices so much" I argue.

"What ever, just believe that you can sing" Harry says smiling at us

I just grunt at him.

"Okay we shout probably get something to eat then head home?" Says louis.

"AHHH YESSS!!! I need food! Im starved!" Complains Niall.

"Haha okay then should we go to nandos?"

There is a chorus of yes' and we all head out to the nearest nandos.

We all order our food and sit at a booth near the back of the restaurant .

"Thanks guys for this amazing day! It was awesome!" Tess says gratefully while stuffing her face with chicken.

"Yea thank you guys, I will never forget this day! Ever" i have the biggest grin on my face as i thank them all for the day

"I think them two pretty much summed up what I wanted to say, but thank you so much" Morgan also says while smiling at them

"It was our pleasure, today was really fun" zayn says to us before stuffing his face too

End of our first full day with one direction, amazing. As I look around the table I start to think what else is going to happen over this week.
