Today I am going for an audition for an advertisement of a face wash.
I wore blue high waisted jeans and a white peplum top with white Michael Kors flats. I drove to the audition hall and read the script a few times to memorise it. When my chance came I went on the stage and told them my name and contestant number. After that I went all blank. I couldn't remember a single word and I was so embarrassed. They told me to take a few minutes, revise and come back. This was my first and worst audition ever. I sat down and revised my dialogues. It was my turn after 2 more contestants. I went and said my dialogues with different expressions and hand gestures.
The second take went very nicely and fluently. I was told that only 3 girls will be shortlisted and will be called for the shoot.
When I was going to my car I saw Caleb coming out of his car. He saw me as our cars were parked right in front of each other. We hugged and greeted each other. He told me that even he came here for an audition for a very famous perfume. I said best of luck to him and drove back to my house. It was quite a slow ride, there were so many red lights. But something caught my eye, Laura. She was sitting on a table in a nearby cafe with a friend or I'll rather say a close friend. They were sitting so close to each other and Laura was laughing like she does while flirting. The signal turned green and I started driving. When I reached my house, I couldn't get that thought out my head. I mean Laura just married Sam and she wouldn't leave such a rich guy just like that and have an extra marital affair. I'm sure that I'm overthinking. He could just be a very close friend, right?
The next day I got a call from the advertisement studio to tell me that I got in. Now I just had to go to their studio for the add the next day. I was so excited. I thought that I have not shared any of this with grace or Chloe. So I called them up for dinner at the American dinners.
I wore a black crop top and black fitted pants with black 2 inch heels and a really cool silver metallic neckpiece. When I reached there the two of them were sitting and talking already. Later we ordered the staple, burger and fries. With iced tea.
We were gossiping when grace told us that she had seen Laura with a very handsome man the other day in the Central Park. They were walking hand in hand and whispering and giggling. After hearing this I was sure that something was cooking which would taste really bad.
Well I just wish that Laura and her mother do whatever they want to do on their own and don't involve me in their drama
