They took a cab as soon as the concert was over. As they got off in front of the record store, Haneul checked the time. There's only five minutes left before Yuta's birthday.
"Did you enjoy the concert?" Haneul asked.
"Of course! I enjoyed it so much that I don't want it to end!" The smile on Yuta's face was brighter than his usual smile. "Honestly, this is the best one I've been into. That you so much, Sky."
"You deserve it." Hanuel smiled back.
"This is really a dream come true. I'm so happy. And I'm happier that I got to spend this special moment with you."
Haneul got flustered when their eyes met. She tried to make the atmosphere comfortable by sharing her happiness as well.
"You know what, I'm so happy too. But I wish my dad had seen them as well. He would've been so excited to meet his favorite band."
"Don't worry, Sky. I'm sure your dad feels happy now that you got to make his dream come true."
"I hope so." Mixed emotions came rushing on her when she talked about her father whom she missed the most.
There was an awkward silence after their conversation. Haneul checked the time once again. It's exactly twelve midnight.
"Hey, it's your birthday already. Happy birthday, Yuta!"
"Oh, right. It's my birthday. Happy birthday to me, I guess?" He chuckled.
"I hope you'll have a happy celebration later."
"I don't need any celebration anymore. This is enough for me."
Haneul was left speechless when Yuta stood closer to her. She could feel her heart trying to beat in its fastest pace because of the almost inexistent distance between them.
"Sky, I don't know how to explain this, but your presence...it brought me so much comfort and happiness. I...I'm just so glad that I met you."
Things got serious and when their eyes met again, Yuta slowly leaned his face towards Haneul. She stood still, not knowing what to do. She closed her eyes and just let her emotions control her, because for certain, she knows that he was feeling the same.
As they got closer, his lips almost meeting hers, Haneul heard a familiar voice from a distance, calling Yuta's name. The voice got closer and closer, making Haneul step back away from Yuta.
"Yuta hyung!"
"Jungwoo?"
Jungwoo looked tired, probably from running or walking at a long distance. He held Yuta's arm while attempting to pull him away.
"I'm sorry, Sky. I just need to tell hyung something very urgent."
Haneul nodded and Jungwoo walked far from where she was standing. Yuta followed and they began talking in their softest voices which she could not even understand. As soon as they finished their conversation, Yuta walked back to Haneul who was patiently waiting for them.
"Sky, I need to go. There's a...an emergency at home."
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah. Don't worry. I just need to fix something. I'll call you later, okay? Thank you for today, Sky. I'll be back soon. I promise."
Before he left, Yuta hugged her. Haneul didn't know why, but his hug felt like he didn't want to let go. Haneul hugged him back lightly, confused with what she was supposed to feel.
