School break was over and Haneul was back to her busy self again. It was another ordinary day in school for her, but not for Chaeyeon. She called Haneul as early as five in the morning to announce her excitement about her favorite boy group's comeback. Yes, her long wait was finally over and as sarcastic as it may seem, Haneul felt happy for her.

"You know I love you, but why do you have to call me so freaking early just to tell me about them? I mean, you already told me hundreds of times about their comeback!" Haneul hung up without receiving any explanation from Chaeyeon. All the wanted was to go back to sleep.

Haneul was fighting her sleepiness while waiting for their next professor to come. From the time that Chaeyeon called, she found it difficult to sleep again and she was left with no choice but to get up and wait for her 10:00 a.m. class.

"I'm really sorry, Haneul. I guess I just want to let my feelings out." Chaeyeon gave Haneul that puppy eyes which the former knew she couldn't refuse.

"Fine! But since you've been so inconsiderate and I've been nothing but a good friend to you, you have to buy me coffee. I swear I couldn't survive this day without my dose of caffeine."

"OF COURSE! I'll treat you after class!"

Haneul was somehow lucky that she took a day off at work that day. After school, Chaeyeon took her out for coffee. They stayed at the coffee shop and waited for five in the afternoon for the release of her favorite's album and music video.

"OH MY GOSH HANEUL, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!"

"No, thanks." Haneul was too focused on studying since she figured it was a good opportunity for her not to pull another all-nighter. "Enjoy and don't bother me."

Fortunately, Chaeyeon seemed to ignore her as she was too focused on what she was watching. Haneul thought Chaeyeon watched that video at least ten times that day.

"Hey, take a break!"

Chaeyeon pulled out the AirPods from Haneul's ears after an hour of being undisturbed by her. She then gave her the half of her own AirPods and began playing some unfamiliar song.

"What's this?"

"It's them, Haneul!"

"Great. I told you—"

"Hey, don't be rude. Just listen."

Haneul shrugged it off and continued studying while listening to the songs.

Their songs were not bad at all. Haneul even enjoyed most of them, except for some which she found a bit loud and noisy. She must admit, Haneul is very choosy when it comes to music.

"What's the title of this?"

Chaeyeon stared a little longer in disbelief.

"I said what's the title of this?" Haneul repeated, thinking her friend didn't hear the question.

"This song?"

"Yeah. This track playing right now."

"Day Dream. The title is Day Dream."

"Ah."

"WAIT!"

Haneul jumped when Chaeyeon suddenly shouted. Even the people at the cafe looked at her.

"You love the song, don't you?!"

"Well it's cute."

"Oh my gosh! I wanna cry!"

"What—"

"This is literally the first time you complimented my boys!"

"I never said I love them. I just said the song's cute."

"You're so mean! But I'll let you get away for now."

Haneul swears she I could spend the entire day making fun of Chaeyeon and her favorite group.

"Good song choice, by the way. Jaehyun oppa's voice in this song is sooo beautiful. I just wanna marry him!"

"Okay, that's it. Let's go home." Haneul tried to look serious and stopped herself from almost laughing. Chaeyeon is just so hilarious.

Defeated, Chaeyeon took the piece of AirPods Haneul handed to her and stopped the song she was playing. It was already already eight in the evening when they went on thei separate ways.

As she walked back home, Haneul couldn't get the song off her head. She refused to admit it to Chaeyeon, but she really loved the song. Their voices were indeed beautiful.

Haneul took her phone out of the pocket and stopped the random track on her playlist. She searched for Day Dream and started playing it while taking slow steps on her way home.
