We ended up texting most of the night until we realised what time it was. We arranged to do a stream in the next couple of days, maybe playing Bedwars or something like that we couldn't really decide and we're probably gonna let our chats choose for us.

When I woke up I had a massive headache, now if I still lived with my Mother/Father then she'd/he'd tell me that it was because I was awake on my phone most of the night, she'd/he'd probably be right but that's beside the point.

I dragged myself out of bed and put on an oversized hoodie over what I was wearing, then walked out of the room and into the Kitchen.

"Good morning", a deep, hoarse voice spoke from the sofa. I picked myself up from almost having a heart attack and then looked over into the Living Room.

"You asshat, you did that on purpose", I shook my head at him and rolled my eyes playfully whilst watching him laugh to himself. "Funny is it?", I asked.

"Very", he chuckled whilst walking over to the counter I was stood behind. I turned to the fridge and took out some ingredients for omelettes. I pulled together the mixture and cut up some toppings that I knew both Corpse and I liked.

I first made Corpse's and then slid the plate over to him, sat at the island, and then continued to make mine.

"Thank you"

I just smiled at him in return.

"Wait", he stood up and rushed over to me. He looked slightly worried and placed his hand on my forehead.

"What are you doing?", I asked him taking a step back.

"Just checking to see if your ill, your being...nice", he started to laugh at his own joke whilst walking back over to his seat.

"Har-har-har, very funny", I fake laughed, unamused. I turned back to the omelette and put it onto a plate for myself. I walked over and sat beside Corpse.

"Okay all jokes aside, what's made you so chirpy this morning?", he asked before putting a forkful of food into his mouth.

I just shrugged at him. He stared at me with an intense gaze, not believing me one bit. "I don't know, I just had a nice night", I tried convincing once more. He raised his eyebrows at me once more and I stood up and walked over to the cupboard, taking out Skelly's bowl and filling it with a mix of her favourite fruits and vegetables along with some pellets.

When I turned, the bowl in hand, Corpse was still giving me the same look whilst he chewed the food in his mouth slowly. I chose to not give him the satisfaction and just ignored him, I walked over to Skelly and gave her, her food.

"Seriously I just had a nice night", I repeated. I wasn't lying but he knew I wasn't telling him the full truth. Eventually, he let it go and we finished our food talking most of the way through it.
