🖤 Nine 🖤

The rest of the week practically flew by, me and Corpse had our Friday night filled with jumpscares, junk food, and board games, per usual it was a well-spent night and kept us both from drowning in the online world.

I was now sat on my bedroom floor, my suitcase in front of me, Corpse sat on my bed, deciding what I should take to Florida. I held up a beige side split maxi dress against my body as I stood up, "Yes or no?"

"No it's too sexy, we can't allow it", Corpse shook his head and I just laughed at him.

"I have to take clothes Corpse, you can't say no to everything", I folded the dress and put it onto the end on the bed along with all the other clothes Corpse had told me not to take.

"Fine", he stood up and rummaged around my closet, after about a minute of mumbling to himself he pulled out some clothes and piled them into my suitcase, "There."

I walked over to the suitcase and sat back in front of it to investigate the clothes he'd put into it. It was mostly sweatpants of which some were cute, some loose tee's, oversized hoodies, and a few nice tops that surprisingly showed some skin maybe even cleavage.

"Oh no, we definitely cant show this much skin", I joked to Corpse holding up one of the tops.

He quickly got back up and walked back to the closet, "Your right, don't worry I'll find something else more appropriate", he told me reassuringly. I shook my head in disbelief and chuckled whilst walking towards him. I put my hands on his shoulder, well as close to them as I could get, and pushed him out of the room playfully.

"Don't worry Dad I've got this, I can pack my own bag", I laughed before shutting the door behind him. I walked back over to the suitcase and repacked it with all the necessities and all the clothes I'd need for the 7-day stay.

I woke up the next morning to Corpse standing over the bed, "Can I help you?", I asked him rubbing my eyes and pushing myself up. He told me to get ready and then left the room. Corpse wasn't the best with words but he wanted me to get up and get dressed, so he was probably planning on going somewhere.

I decided on dressing comfortably since I did have my flight later and it was a bit of a later flight so I'd probably end up falling asleep on the way there. I put on some cute drawstring, light grey sweats a simple white longsleeved top, which cut off just before meeting the top of the sweatpants, and put on a little jewellery per usual.

Corpse ended up taking me out to breakfast and it was adorable, I was going to miss him whilst I was away.

After we got back, we splayed out on the sofas, "I forgot how tiring going out is", I sighed, fully drained of any energy I woke up with, which let's be honest was next to none.

*ding*

I took my phone from my pocket and opened the notification.

"I knew I'd regret that reply", I muttered to myself, letting my head fall back down and hit the pillow beneath it.
