It seems that Jungkook has found himself in a bit of a predicament this morning. His intention was to pick up Jimin, but a last-minute change in his class schedule imposed by his lecturer has thrown a wrench into those plans, forcing him to attend class instead. In an effort to inform Jimin about the situation, Jungkook sent him a text. However, as has often been the case, Jimin has not yet responded.

Jikim paced nervously in the small living room, glancing at the clock every few seconds. The morning sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow, but it did little to ease his anxiety.

Yoongi, sitting calmly on the couch, looked up from his book. He could tell from Jimin’s pout and the scent change that something was bothering him. “Why the pout?” he asked, already suspecting it was something to do with Jungkook.

“If he did not get me this morning, I will stay here forever!” Chim exclaimed, his voice tinged with desperation.

“No, you are not,” he replied firmly.

“Why?” Jimin asked, his eyes wide with concern.

“My roommates won’t be happy with me bringing another person here,” Yoongi explained, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.

“Hyung!” Jimin protested, feeling a mix of frustration and helplessness.

“Aish Chim,” Yoongi sighed, closing his book and standing up. He placed a reassuring hand on Chim’s shoulder. “Jungkook will come to get you. Don’t worry.”

The clock on the wall ticked steadily, each second amplifying the silence in the room.

Yoongi reached out and gently patted Jimin’s head. “Don’t think too much about Jungkook,” he said softly, trying to offer some comfort.

Jimin sighed, his shoulders slumping. “He made me mad.” he muttered to himself, his voice filled with disappointment.

It was already 12:30 am, and still no sign of Jungkook. The night seemed to stretch endlessly, the minutes dragging on painfully.

"Go to sleep,” Yoongi suggested, his voice gentle but firm. “I will wake you up when Jungkook comes.”

Jimin shook his head, his eyes filled with a mix of sadness and resolve. “No need. If he comes, tell him to leave. I don’t want to see him.”

Yoongi sighed, understanding the depth of Jimin’s hurt. He knew that Jimin’s words came from a place of pain, and he wished he could do more to ease it. But for now, all he could do was stay by Jimin’s side, offering silent support.

Jimin stood up from the couch, his mind racing with thoughts he couldn’t quiet. The living room felt too empty, too silent, amplifying his unease. He walked slowly to Yoongi’s room, hoping that he can go to sleep.

He lay down on the spare bed in Yoongi’s room, pulling the blanket over himself. But sleep eluded him. His eyes kept drifting to his phone, lying on the table just out of reach. He couldn’t help but glance at it every few minutes, hoping for a message that never came.

"He’s such a liar,” Jimin whispered to himself, the words filled with a mix of anger and hurt. He had trusted Jungkook, believed in his promises, but now he felt betrayed.
